Ryan hated the idea of putting Bella in the middle. Since he found out who she was, he didn’t want her to have to choose between the father she just met and him, but that was where she was. In the middle.
He tried reaching out to her multiple times after she ran off, but she turned off her phone. He stopped trying and sent her a text asking her to call him when she was ready to talk. That he was sorry for the way his family reacted, and that what was going on between them was between them.
