So you wanna go out tomorrow.

I sighed as I looked at her message.My social battery is drained and besides,I'm not sure I really want to go out.

I'm tired already and besides,I would be quite busy tommorow.

But tommorow is Saturday!

That's the point. I stated.

Oh...maybe next week.

I curled myself with my favourite blanket as I watched the new film sofie recommended the film to me and plus the rating on the Internet were good so I had to watch it on the TV.

A little girl of twelve years was going to the kitchen to get a glass of water when suddenly the light flickered. She slowly made her way to the parlour when she saw some men on mask carrying the shovel with a big duffel bag.Panicked,she quietly ran to her parents room and hid under the bed.The door creaked opened and after some minutes she saw a paper close to her side and the door was closed shut.She picked the paper and its says "I KNOW YOU ARE HIDING UNDER THE BED"

My heart was racing as if I was the little girl.

I clapsed my hand together as my lips were shaking"Please don't let them hurt her".

After some moment,the girl came out of the bed but immediately came face to face with...

A MONSTER.......

"Ahhhhhh" I poured the doritos that I was eating.

The jump scare was scary and it didn't helped as I switched off the lights and closed the curtains.

I didn't cry sofie...the film is scary.

I forgot to mention that it was a little bit scary

Little bit...did you see how they buried the girls parent and don't tell me you didn't see how they forcefully took the girl. I ranted.

Whatever,don't recommend horror movies to me,I want to have good dreams.

I got out of my room and went to max room.Its been a while that I entered his room.I knocked thrice, but no one answered.

"Max,"I yelled

No response.

"I coming in whether you like it or not so don't get mad if you see me in your room like the last time." I said before opening the door.

It was truly what I expected.He was playing Assassin Creed Odyssey with his head phone plastered in his head.No wonder he didn't respond cause normally he would have replied with

"Not now, please,"

"Go away,"

I think his latest reply is...

What are you doing here?

I looked back to see a frown on his forehead. I was meant to say slamming the door on my face which I consider rude but this reply was ok.

"I was bored...so I decided to come here."I said, looking around to his walls that were painted grey and black like his personality.

"I see you arranged your room... unlike the last time." I mumbled.

"Guys, give me a minute." Max said removing the head phone from his head ."This is my room,so I can do anyhow it pleases me."

"No argument here. Can I play with you."I said, giving him my cutest baby pout.

"No!" He said sharply.

"Please!"

"I'm playing live,you are gonna make me lose."He said in annoyance.

"Then I will wait for you,"I said as I took a bottle of lemon lime soda that was lying on the table and drank it.

"Fine,I will play with you just once, and then you leave." Max said before wearing his head phone back.

"I won,"I shouted jubilantly.

"It was in easy mode."Max said scoffing.

I punched him in his shoulders."You are supposed to be happy that I won.''

"I didn't even lift a finger..."

"I don't care,all I know is that I won." I said, doing a chicken dance.

"You call that a dance... It's terrible"!Max said, trying not to laugh.

"Hey..."

"Daniella..." Mom voiced ranged out.

"I think this is your cue to leave."Max said, pushing me out from his door.

"Wait! I forgot..."

Slam!

He shut the door in my face.Well, that's not new! I went to the kitchen to meet Mama.

"Welcome, Mama"! I said, hugging her.

"How are you doing"? She said as she disengaged.

"Fine, anyways, what are we going to cook for dinner"?

"I don't know if we should cook American food or our Mexican cuisine."

"I think we should try to adapt to American food."

"Ok, what about mashed potatoes,baked chicken, and French fries."Mom suggested.

"That would be nice for dinner."I smiled.

"Okay,you need to go the supermarket. I will write down the list."

"Okay".I nodded.

"Do you want your brother to follow you..."

No!I quickly said nodding my head.in disapproval."He's gonna affect everyone with his moody behaviour."

Mom chuckled before giving me the list.

"Come back on time."

"Sí mama,I will. I left the house but before that,I actually texted Emily to follow me.

At Walmart

"So you need potato,butter,garlic powder,gritted cheese and milk."Emily said looking at the shopping list.

"Yep"! I said.

"But some ingredients are still missing"?

"We have the rest of it at home... except this ones."

"Oh"!

"We went to different sections to look for what we needed."

"Thanks for escorting me Emily,it means a lot."

"Is not a problem"! She said, carrying some of my grocery bag.

"I hope your parents are not angry with you."

"Nope,and beside they went out and I was bored, so it's a win-win for the both of us...although you owe me." She grinned.

"Okay... we are celebrating something tomorrow so I will ask my mom if you can come."

"Cool"

"Thanks, Abuela"! I said smiling.

"Someone needs to learn how to cook". Abuela glared at max.

"What did I do"? Max protested.

"I'm gonna bring my spatula"!

"There's no need for that".Mama said sitting her down. Her phone rang and she went to her room to pick it up.

"Can you pass me the baked chicken, please? I pleaded.

"You have hands, don't you".Max said,eating his food.

"Well, I guess I tried my best".I said to max hearing.

"What do you mean by..."

"Abuela! Max refused to pass me the baked chicken."

I heard Max groaning painfully. I guess Abuela must have given him hard knocks.

"Sorry"!I whispered to Max.

Max was about saying something when Mom burst into the room happily.

"I got good news"! She smiled.

"Tell me we are not moving to another country again "I said

"...or you have a bag of headache medicine with you".Max said rubbing his head.

"No, we are not travelling and why will you need medicine for a headache?

"There's no reason".I said smirking

"Okay...well, the good news is that I have a new job."
