"Mom, I don't understand,why are we leaving."I just hope that this is all some stupid prank...or whatever they call it.

"For the first time in history, I agree with her,but seriously mom,why are we moving out."Maxwell asked.

"Well, your grandma and I decided that it would be the best to put behind everything that has happened over the years."Mom explained

"Even you Abuela,you knew about this? I asked in disbelief.

"What about our school? I continued

...and our friends by brother said completing what was in my head.Call it twin telepath.

"Well... it's time for a change right.And besides, you can get to meet new friends and people.

"Morover,my new job requires me to go to America and I can't leave both of you here."

"We will be fine mom...right sis?"Maxwell asked, looking at me.

"Yes mom we will be fine, but what about grandma?I asked.

"She would be coming with us."

"But what about processing our visa and passport and everything."I exclaimed.

"One question at a time, child."Abuela said before entering her room.

"I have already taken care of it."Mom said.

"Wait a minute,you have already processed our papers?Maxwell asked.

Yes?My mom said in more like a question.

And you couldn't have said it like" Hi guys,guess what! I have been thinking to process your paper and I want you all to relocate to America with me" I said it in sacarasm.

"I guess my sister has traded personalities with me."my brother said in amusement.

Well,mom said before she continued.

"First of all,I'm sorry for not telling you guys on time and beside, it's a good time for us mingle with other people.I really thought you people would be happy about it."Mom said sadly.

I really hated the fact that we are moving out but I cannot afford to see mom in this state because the last time I saw her like this was when Dad left for no reason.I have never seen her so devastated before.

Mom I said,placing my hand on hers.In as much as I detest the idea of leaving this place,I am ready for a change."

"Really?Mom beamed.

"Yes,""I nodded.

"Thank you!Mom said hugging me.Let me start preparing on time cause we will leave this place in two days' timeshe said excitedly and left.

What are you up to sis?Maxwell said glaring at me.

We have to do it...for mom I said

Whatever!he scoffed

Imagine being so popular in your new school and besides this could be a fresh start for us since school is yet to start.I explained.

Fine he said in defeat but that doesn't mean I'm fully in on this and another thing, I go by the name Max and not Maxwell since Max feels more...American he said leaving the room.

Maxwell is an American name genius! I yelled after him

Dunking donut cafe

You mean you are leaving here.Sofie exclaimed.

Keep it down,everyone is staring at us.I said, covering her mouth with my hand.

Sorry!She says sheepishly.But what will I do without you, Daniella? she asks, pouting her lips.

A lot I said shrugging.she gave me an annoyed look. I know sofie...it's so hard, trying to fit in another country and leaving everything behind even my bestie but sometimes,we need to to accept changes even though they are scary.I said patting my dramatic friend who was wiping tears from her eyes.Such a sweet girl.

That's why you are the smartest girl in Fountain City School.Who will continue to win inter state and also local competition.She said sadly.

"You are smart,intelligent and beautiful of course,Fountain City School will really need people like you."I said,patting her back.

"Thank you Daniella! she said,munching her donut. Oh my God...this is soo delicious.Why haven't we been here for a while she asks, staring at me.

To be honest Sofie...I don't know,we just forget the things we usually do.

Yeah she murmured. But I have an idea,why don't we make the best of these few days that we have left.

Sofie you are making it sound like I have cancer or something.I said munching my donut.This donut is truly delicious.

"I didn't mean it that way.Sofie says and continues, I guess I ate the last piece of donut and I don't any money to buy more donut."

"Who says you are paying for the donut." Bills on me! I signalled one of the waiter to give us more donut plus two bobba tea.

"You are the best"! Sofie says grinning.Remind me why she is my best friend again.

"Anyway let enjoy our delicious meal and also plan to make this..."

"The best day ever! we both said together

I have a good feeling that everything will go as planned.
