Maxwell pov
I looked at the mirror and sighed.Why are we even moving.
"For mom ...DUMMY;my sub consciousness reminded me again.
I really needed to clear my head.My sis seems very happy about going to America, but she is pretending not to be.
I am quite aware of how a nerd my sister can be,because up till now she still wear her braces and her eyeglass.But apart from that,I sometimes wished that I was smart like her;not that I'm jealous or anything,but she's really wise like our Grandpa Carlos as Abuela would always say.
I sluggishly made an attempt to the bathroom and brushed my teeth,took a cold shower and wore my clothes.At least I took the good looks from...Dad. I whispered the last part.
If you noticed by now,the mention of dad's name is highly prohibited in this house.From my foggy memory,I remembered the part where I saw my Dad yelling at my mum who seems to have tears pouring down her face.I couldn't remember why they argued,but I remembered telling Daniella to go to her room that they will come back together like how couples usually do...except that it never happened.The only thing I remembered was when Dad left! Each time I tried asking Mom,she always came up with a petty excuse, so I took it as my cue never to ask her again.
Brushing off the thoughts from my head,I went downstairs to join my family for breakfast.I love my family but I am not going to act all lovely dopey.I needed to act manly like grandpa always say.Speaking of grandpa,that would be story for another day.
"Morning family! " I said as I walked to where my family were seated.
"Someone seems to be happy this morning".Mom said,observing me.
"Morning child".Grandma says and continue knitting her scarf.She never gets tired of doing what she loves most.
"He's truly up to something"Daniella said, scoffing.Typical daniella in a morning.
"Sis,why would your handsome brother be thinking of doing something this morning".I asked with a sly smile.
Mama...Abuela! "Did you just see what Maxwell did".
It's Max...I groaned.
"What I see is a cute boy".Grandma says, giving me a bear hug.Did I mention how much I hate hugs. I felt suffocated as Abuela continued hugging me.
"Abuela, let's eat"! My mom says, dressing the table.
No mama...it seems like Abuela is in a good mood . "Opportunities like this are hard to find".Daniella smirked at me.She said it purposely.
After what seems like forever, Abuela finally released me.Her hugs looks like an anaconda that is strangling it's victim...no offence!
"You really outdid yourselves, Mama".Daniella said,looking at the food".The aroma from the crispy taco,scrambled eggs,tortillas with tomato sauce and also melted cheese which was on top of it,filled up my nostrils.The food was a masterpiece.
I ate the tortillas and I really enjoyed it.
" Why haven't you become a chef" I said as I stuffed the scrambled eggs in my mouth.
"I have told your mother countless times, but she never listens to me she always says,"I need to take care of my twin. "Abuela said in sarcasm.Now you know where I took sarcasm from.
Mama, I have an idea Daniella exclaimed. Why don't you apply to be a chef in the US.
Really!Mom asks, beaming.
"You better apply, or else I will hit you with this spatula."Grandma said, and we all laughed.No one is too old for grandma's beating.
"By the way, Mama,I'm going out to see my friend".
"You mean Justus!" Daniella says, rolling her eyes.I forgot to tell you that Daniella hates all my friends because they are all so cocky according to her.
"Yeah him"I said.
"Well, I guess you can go, but don't forget curfew".Mama said and turned to daniella. What about you?
"I'm also going out with Sofie."
"Pretty face."I said unconsciously.Don't get me wrong!Is not that I have a crush on sofie or anything, but she's pretty like really pretty.
"Seems like someone has a crush"my sister said, loud enough for only me to hear.
No, I don't ! I argued
Hey kids!Why don't you all go together...
"No abuela"!We both said at the same time.
Okay! But don't forget the curfew.Mom says
We won't I said before heading out.

Justus place
"You mean your sister still hates me" Justus said, looking at me with wide eyes.
Didn't you hear the part that I said that I would be moving to America.
Yeah! I heard that... whatever he said.
"Don't tell me you are still onto my sister".I facepalmed.
"Who wouldn't be...she is beautiful" he said with dreamy eyes.
She doesn't even like you like that...She hates you dude.My sister hated him because he really went too far when he put frogs in her backpack.
"Is she still mad about the frog thing... I thought she would like it."
"She didn’t...and now she hates you more than ever," I said with sacarsm.
"You are not helping''Justus said.Let's play video games he suggested.
"Are you sure that your mom will not be mad, because the last time we played video games, she seemed to be mad."
"That's because I haven't finished my chores" he exclaimed.
"And let me guess... you still haven't finished your chores."I said
Yep he said, nodding his head
We play games for ten minutes and then you will do your chores.
Deal!
Then let's play I said, bringing out the game counsel

Daniella pov
"We have done almost everything except from one thing"Sofie says, rubbing her invisible moustache
Karaoke! I said as I pulled her to the popular place that I knew here..
Da vinos.
"What will you want, Hermosa!The waiter said.
Daniella,I think he is talking to you.Sofie said tugging me.
I would like a...the words trailed off when I saw Axel.
Axel!I exclaimed as I rushed to hug him.He was one of my friends who I hadn't seen since last year.
Where did you go, "mi amigo?" I exclaimed we had a lot to catch up.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you but I really needed to take care of my mama,it was so sudden that I couldn't even inform you"he explained.
Is ok,I understand I said sincerely.
"Am lost"!Sofie says pretending to be jealous.
"Pardon me beautiful"! Axel says before kissing sofie hands.
"You might want to watch out for her boyfriend" I said jokingly.
"Bestie"!Sofie whinned
"I will order steak with oat milk latte" I said
"Just fresh juice will do."Sofie says
"Okay... Bills on me."Axel says before leaving.
"I think he likes you" Sofie says in a song like form.
Nah, he's just a friend... That's what friends do right.
I'm an expert on boys. I know when boys like someone..exactly how David loves me, she says with dreamy eyes.and besides, he is paying for the bills right.
Whatever I wanna sing. I muttered as I stepped to the stage.He doesn't like me right!I mean,we.are just friends and he hasn't made any googly eyes at me.
Sofie joined me at the stage as we sang "Count on" by Bruno Mars
