Book II:Love me Again

Chapter 2

Malakas na natawa si Amethyst ng takpan ni Aiden ang mata, they were watching a movie. Alam na niya na ayaw ng binata ng mga horror movies opposite to her choice but Aiden still choose what she wants, kaya ang ending heto si Aiden at nakatakip ang mga mata. Agad na hinawakan ni Amethyst ang kamay ng binata sinusubukan na tanggalin ang takip nito sa mata.

"It was the best part! Come on!" She said chuckling.

Aiden slowly take his hand off, mahigpit nitong hinawakan ang kanyang kamay na ikinatawa niya.

"Damn it!" He hissed when a jump scare happened. "You are really enjoying this aren't you?"

Amethyst burst into laughter, agad naman niyang tinakpan ang bibig ng may i-ilang tao sa sinehan ang tumingin sa puwesto nila. She wipe her tears away and smile.

"You are cute when you are scared."

"So I'm not cute when I'm not scared?"

"Nah, that is a trick question." Wika nito.

They both smile and continued watching, Aiden felt relieved when the movie ended. Nag lakad sila palabas sa Cinema.

"May gusto ka pa bang gawin?" Tanong nito. "Where do you want to eat?"

Amethyst pout, hinimas niya ang baba na tila nag iisip pa. Aiden watch her doing that and he can't help but to smile, he was just so happy that they were able to do things they want to do. Yung mga bagay na hindi nila nagagawa dati ay nagagawa na nila ngayon. Ang mga tingin ni Aiden ay bumaba sa kamay ni Amethyst na nasa gilid nito, he's tempted to hold her hand but he can't afraid that she will felt awkward.

"Punta tayong Toy store!" She said giggling.

Napangiti na lang si Aiden ng makita ang ngiti sa mukha ng dalaga ngunit tila tumalbog ang puso niya ng hawakan ni Amethyst ang kamay niya at haltakin siya papasok ng toy store.

"We should bought something for Sam."

Aiden nodded, wala siya sa wisyo all he could think off is their hand. Tila wala naman iyon para kay Amethyst but for him it was so wholesome, napatawa na lang siya sa kababawan. Ganoon na lang ba niya ka mahal ang dalaga? Hindi naman siya huminto na mahalin ito he was just so young and afraid. And that is the dumbest things he did at pinag sisisihan niya iyon. He was so disappointed when Amethyst let go of his hand, nag lakad ito palapit sa Mickey mouse section.

"Halika dito! Look" she said holding a cute miniature Mickey mouse in her hand. "Sam loves to collect this kind of stuff."

Aiden nodded, he took a head band on the shelf and put it on his head then he took a Minnie mouse head band and put it on Amy's head. Napatigil na lang si Amethyst sa ginagawa her eyes wondered around as she felt the awkward yet satisfying moment between them. Aiden is fixing her hair smiling from ear to ear matapos ay kinuha nito ang cellphone sa bulsa.

"Let's take a picture." He said.

Amethyst rolled her eyes and nodded. Nag peace sign silang dalawa she even stick her tongue out making her look cute and childish.

"Patingin ako!"

Aiden gave her his phone and showed her their picture.

"Ang cute ko pala?" Malungkot na wika ni Amethyst.

"Seriously?"

Aiden chuckled when Amethyst pouted and nods her head.

"I didn't realize that till now."

"Hello ma'am Amy!"

Amethyst looks at the sales lady and smile.

"Mag shopping po kayo para kay Samantha? May mga bagong dating po kami."

Amethyst smile.

"Nah, we are just getting this." She said and showed her the miniature she's holding. After that they both left and walk along, Amethyst felt her stomach grumbled mag a-alas diyes na rin naman kasi ng gabi. Sam is with their parents since it's weekend bonding maski sila ay tutuloy sa bahay ng mga magulang lumabas sila ng Mall para mag lakad sa seaside the wind is blowing so hard but it was refreshing.

"You hungry?"

Amethyst nods her head gutom siya pero tinatamad siyang kumain.

"Yeah..." But she her foot stopped when something caught her attention.

"Something wrong?"

Amethyst shook her head and continued walking pero alam ni Aiden na may mali sa dalaga.

"Tell me..." He said, hinawakan ni ang braso niya at hinarap sa kanya. "What's wrong?"

"I just remembered him." Malungkot na wika ng dalaga. "At the beach, building a tent having each other it's just....a perfect day"

Aiden's heart clench but he needs to accept the fact that Amethyst loved someone else, mahirap makipag kumpetensya lalo't mas minahal ng tama ni Moon ang babaeng sinaktan niya. Aiden full her for a hug mahigpit niyang niyakap ang dalaga.

"I'm sorry...."

"Don't be."

Tahimik na ang kanilang naging byahe pauwi, no one dares to talk if possible no one would even dare to breathe, Amethyst sighed and watch the buildings. Nang maiparada ni Aiden ang sasakyan ay mabilis itong bumaba at tumakbo papunta sa side niya, he opened the door for her.

"Salamat."

Aiden's nods his head and smile, sabay silang nag lakad papasok. Tahimik at madilim na ang mansion, everyone is asleep except for the couple of maids. Sanay silang umakyat at nag lakad sa pasilyo till they reach her room.

"Thanks for the night." Wika ni Amethyst. "I'm sorry that I have to ruin it."

Ngumiti naman si Aiden, inabot nito ang kanyang kamay at hinawakan ng mahigpit.

"You didn't ruin it trust me." He said. "Matulog kana you are tired."

Marahan siyang tumango at binuksan ang pinto ng silid. She looks back at Aiden and smile.

"Good night..."

"Good night."

Kanina pa nakasara ang pinto ngunit nanatili siyang nakatayo doon, he's watching the close door not even uttering a single word.

"You can knock if you want."

Agad siyang bumaling sa tinig sa kanyang gilid ngumiti na lang siya ng makita si Silver na naka sandal sa pader.

"Kanina pa ako nakatayo dito, I was waiting for you to knock."

Aiden chuckled.

"Do you want to drink?"

Silver rolled his eyes, nag lakad ito palapit sa kanya. Pinatong ni Silver ang braso sa balikat ni Aiden.

"I was waiting for you to ask."

Inilapag ni Aiden ang shot glass sa bar counter, it was almost two in the morning and they were still drinking.

"Another shot!"

Aide smirk and nodded till that smirk left his lips and sadness reigns to him. Silver sighed, tinapik niya ang braso ng kapatid.

"It was hard isn't it?"

Aiden nods his head. It was really hard but he won't give up.

"It was, but it was worthy I guess."

"Mahirap talaga makipag kumpetensya lalo't may ibang tao g nag paramdam na mas mahalaga siya."

"I'm a jerk do I?"

Malakas na natawa si Silver at tumango.

"Buti alam mo?" He said still chuckling. "But you can change that and I'm seeing that change. You just have to be patient and wait."

Kahit ilang taon pa sigurado ang hintayin niya ay ayos lang but he's scared and threatened at the same time. Who wouldn't want Amethyst? She's such an amazing woman.

"Matutulog na ako, Ice will kill me if she found out that I'm gone." He said chuckling. "Don't te her we had Drink."

"I won't." He said chuckling.

Sandali pa siyang nanatali roon bago nag pasiyang umakyat sa kanyang silid. He took a quick bath and jump to his bed he ile when he saw a cute flow in the dark heart shape on the ceiling, idinikit ito ni Amethyst sa ceiling niya. Napailing na lang siya at akmang matutulog na ng tumunog ang cellphone niya. He took his on the bedside table.

'Arriving at Monday see you love.'

Aiden sighed and put his phone back on the table, isa nanamang sakit sa ulo ang dadagdag sa iisipin niya.

"Morning Daddy!" Agad na napangiti si Aiden ng makita ang anak na nakaupo sa hapag at maganang kumakain, Lunes ngayon kaya't maaga silang mga nagising. Ang kanyang mata ay dumako sa dalagang busy na nag luluto ng almusal nila.

"Morning Princess." He said kissing her forehead. "Kumain kana ba?"

"No, Momma said to wait for the bacon."

Aiden nods his head, nag lakad ito papunta sa ref at kumuha ng maiinom.

"Morning."

He almost puke when Amethyst greets him.

"M-morning."

Hindi maalis ang tingin niya sa dalaga, she's wearing a pink apron her hair is in pony and she's still wearing her pyjamas.

"Do you want coffee?"

Aiden didn't know what to say, he was just standing their mesmerized on how beautiful Amethyst is.

"Do you?"

He blinked numerable times before nodding and looking away.

"Ako na ang gagawa."

Amethyst shrugged, hindi na ito muling nag salita at nag patuloy na nag luto. Gumawa siya ng kape bago bumalik sa lamesa.

"Ikaw? Do you want coffee?"

"Nope, I'm more on a soda lover."

"This early?"

"Yup."

Ang alam niya kasi ay mahilig sa kape ang dalaga, noong mag kasintahan pa sila ay palagi itong umiinom ng kape kasabay niya.

"I thought you like coffee...." He whispered when Amethyst sat beside Sam.

"Not really..." She said chuckling. "Kain na Sam."

After their breakfast they dropped Sam to her school she kissed them both before running towards her friend. Hindi mawala ang ngiti sa labi ng dalawa habang nakatingin sa anak, time flies so fast in years Sam will be a beautiful lad.

"If it won't bother you drive me to office." Wika ni Amethyst na nag aayos ng seatbelt."is that okay?"

Aiden nodded and started the engine.

"Susunduin ba kita mamaya?"

"Hindi na, pakisundo na lang si Sam I have a dinner meeting with Kiba."

Mapait na ngumiti si Aiden at pinaandar ang sasakyan.

"First name basis huh."

"He's just the sweetest... I'm comfortable with him." He said smiling from ear to ear. "Alam mo ba? Di ko talaga akalain na lalaki si Kiba? Like our parents were friends and we didn't know him."

"You don't have to know him." Malamig niyang tugon. "He's not that important."

"But now he is, his my business partner." Wika ni Amethyst.

Hindi na siya muling sumagot, he sat their in silence and drive. Pero dahil Lunes ngayon ay naaubtan sila ng traffic.

"Why are you drinking coffee back then if you don't like it?" Kanina niya pa talaga ito gustong itanong sa dalaga. "You know when are still together."

Amethyst sighed, bakit nga na? She smile when she realize why.

"Because you lobe coffee so much." She said. "And I'm trying to like things you love para may ka-buddy ka. And I want to be that buddy of yours, Remember how much you like reading books and stayed in the library for hours?"

Aiden nods his head, nanatili lang siyang nakikinig sa dalaga.

"I don't like reading that I ended up sleeping, but because you like it I stayed. Isn't that sweet?" Wika niya na tila wala lang sa kanya ang mga kinukuwento nito. "Nakakahiya yung malakas kong hilik that time!"

Aiden's heart froze, it was clenching in pain while hearing those words from Amethyst, she was coping with him. Ginagawa nito ang lahat para sa kanya, she even tried to like things that she didn't like at first for him.

"Salamat sa pag hatid!" Masayang wika ng dalaga. "Pick Sam for me okay?"

Aiden's nods his head and watch her stepped out of the car hanggang sa makasakay na ito ng elevator. He was so ashamed for the things he did to her. His hand grip on the steering wheel remembering those memories, he was lucky but he let go of the best thing that happened to him. And that is just stupid!

"I just wish you would love me back again."
