I was done with the drafts by mid-afternoon, just in time to take my lunch break. Sammy was waiting for me downstairs, it’s been a little while since we’ve last had lunch together, so were going to that little diner a few blocks down the street from the company.
I needed to fill her in on everything that she’s missed out on. She was quickly becoming a part of my friends group, growing close to my heart the same way Lucy has.
