It wasn't fair that Sophia would get the luxury of living with Theodore

" I am going to be sending you there with her as an escort as that is the only way I'll be sending her there and that's the only way I can get you closer to the Duke…. This is your last chance Amelia , if you mess this up there's nothing else I can do for you , you must seduce Theodore while you're there " Philip said

" it will be much better if I get pregnant with his child, he will have no choice but to marry me instead of Sophia, we all know the Duke is not going to be intimate with her and he is still a man so he needs someone to lay with" Amelia suggested

Clare wasn't so sure of her daughter's plan as she thought it was best for her to keep her virtue

" I agree with Amelia " Philip said ignoring the fact that Amelia would be intimate with someone when she wasn't married. He found the whole virtues thing to be ridiculous now… she just needs one try to get pregnant and we would not need to worry about her virtue as she will end up with the duke.

As much as Clare wanted Amelia to marry Theodore, ahe preferred to continue with the principles she raised Amelia with …. To only be intimate with the man she was married to unless she will be ruined

" are you sure you can do this Amelia?" Clare asked her daughter

" of course mother, his only other option would be Sophia, do you want her to become the dutchess instead of me... I will seduce the Duke and have his child , it will be of great help if his mother would come around because she likes me" Amelia said

Due to chasing Theodore always , Amelia recalled meeting his mother once and after a while she found the duke's mother rooting for her…..

" excuse me mother , father. I should start picking out my finest dresses now" Amelia said as she was about leaving the garden

" Amelia you have to finish burying the kitten and not do anything stupid these two days" Philip said as he was worried for his life and he did not trust Amelia to understand the gravity of the situation they were in.... Do this first and let Sophia know you're done before you start packing" Philip said

" yes father, I will get the kitten " Amelia responded….. she was so excited about going to live with the duke that she had forgotten about her plans to get revenge on Sophia for making her dig a hole with her bare hands, Amelia hurried up to go to Sophia's room as the dead kitten wasn't the only thing she was going to get …. There was something else that was also valuable.

Amelia opened the door of Sophia's took which was also the vilest room in their mansion as the room belonged to someone who should never had existed.

" this stench is horrible" Amelia said covering her nose as she coughed repeatedly, due to the stench it wasn't hard to guess where the dead kitten was

" Where the hell is it " Amelia said as she opened Sophia's closet looking for what she really came to the room to get …. Her eyes lit up when she found what she was looking for

" why are you when holding on to the dress of a woman who ran away along time ago and left you here" Amelia thought as she took out Sophia mother's wedding dress, it was no doubt a beautiful dress but something like this was not suited for someone as gloomly as Sophia. Amelia thought she was doing her a Favour….it would have been perfect to show Sophia the dress getting buried but she was asked to play nice . Amelia quickly closed the closet as she had found the dress, she grabbed the box containing the dead kitten and hurried back outside. Reaching the door that led outside, she peaked outside to make sure her parents were not standing where the hole was dug …. She was glad her parents had left or her father would have stopped her from doing this.

Amelia approached the maid who was still digging out the hole with her hands and she dropped the dress and box containing the cat into it.

" cover that up as fast as you can" Amelia said to the maid

" but my lady this is your sister's dress " the maid spoke up

" what gives you the right to question me, do as I say or I shall have you fired" Amelia threatened

" Daniel" , Sophia called as he entered the quiet kitchen. Now that breakfast was over it was hard to see anyone in the kitchen until it was time to wash the dishes

" Sophia this is new, you have never come to me by this time of the day, did everyone else leave the house?" Daniel asked surprise to see Sophia casually walking around

" today is a special day for a change because I got engaged to the Duke" Sophia said as she couldn't wait to share the news with Daniel, he should have been there to witness everyone's facial expressions

" I can imagine , I am shocked even though I kind of expected it but wait a minute" Daniel said as he looked around for a chair to make Sophia more comfortable while she tell him everything that happened. He wished he could have been a fly on the wall to see everyone's face especially Amelia.

" there you go " Daniel said as he positioned the chair properly for her to seat

" I love that you are extra kind when it comes to gossip about my family involved " Sophia said as she giggled and sat down on the chair he found

" I don't know why you still refer to them as family , after all they put you through… the Duke will be your family now , forget about these heartless people " Daniel said as he sat down opposite Sophia
