A few years later, Aaron developed a strong as hell desire to be part of the army of Avalon city. He always trained to be stronger and be able to conquer anyone standing in his way.
Rebellion roared out his name– Had enough of the ferocious acts of injustice surrounding him. A little more inward-looking.
"I'm a little sick of all this"
He was closer to his brothers compared to the past years though marked by vicious past scenes lingering in his mind.
A gentle move towards his brothers prompted by his grandma's way of life bumped into his tuned mind.
"We see nothing but ourselves. Nothing other than the shadows of the love we seek".
An ocean from his hell to a moderate peace shore. Though Aaron's mind still muzzled up in mistrust.
But still prompted by the ultimate drive to fight for what would give him an upper hand over his brothers.
At the age of eighteen, Aaron chose to face his family with the idea of his ultimate dream yet, his latest decision of becoming a soldier in the official Avalon army.
He started off with his brothers which he had to pull in for a conversation to explain the whole situation diligently.
His brothers were actually surprised to have never heard of that about him. But they knew about his mysterious airs so that was no actual big deal.
"Always feels like he had a bunch of unsaid stuff" Asher smirked.
His elder brothers Asher Standall and Kali Standall teased him about that and they all had fun around that.
But Nill Standall felt the need to tease him about some other aspect. It was definitely a bet on Nill always to keep greater strength over Aaron, day in day out, no matter what.
"Got to see if the rabbit ever beats the tiger" Nill smirked, peering at Aaron. Something of a strained atmosphere straight out of the blue.
Certainly more of a drive for Aaron to move further on his path.
Slow paced route for his ultimate will, Aaron waited for the presence of his usually absent parents to set the table right.
Mind steaming, shadows outnumbered but he stepped over his worried anticipations.
Parents never knew about this aspiration of his and so were quite startled by the news. But when it came to the military ground, Aaron was old enough to take on his right to pursue this dream of his. Something his parents were well aware of.
"That's a choice of yours, and we'd need to respect that. I guess you got to know what's best for you now. You can get back to us whenever you feel stuck" Aaron's dad said while staring at his wife in approval.
Something of an awkward stance of heavy punch in empty space. He never had a thing to be worried about and found that quite outstanding.
"I never thought you'd see things this way, you know. Thank you dad, thank you mom".
As for Moma, she'd always been aware of that, through her regular conversations with her grandson along their regular trips to the forest.
A well stitched thread of experience through their different parades in the greeneries.
She'd helped Aaron mend some details in regards to his enrollment for the role of soldiers in the country army.
Aaron got encouraged to go further on his path most especially by the help of his closest friend Loki with whom he had regular training sessions since the day he shared that dream of his.
"I'd sure place a bet on you, you got this" said Loki, without a shadow of doubt
Aaron had grown into a big boy very much eager for purpose and adventure. Didn't quite find a particular interest in taking his education further as his parents would've wished.
He obviously took the firm decision to dream out loud his utmost faith in regards to the protection of his people and most specifically to grant some sense to his parents' murder.
A resolution through his sense of duty got for his community.
His decision wasn't easy –it meant leaving behind the comfort of his home town and the life he had known. But he was ready for the transformation.
Aaron stirred his gratefulness along his path, for the amount of joy he had imagining himself in a soldier suit.
A tad bit of strain as the days were pulled across time, bridging the gap to his endeared military goals.
His family and best friend he had to do without for a good amount of time. The raw distance blew at the hair across his skin, damn!
Hands clasped in an arm-wrestling position, Aaron gave his good bye to the last person he faced– his best friend.
Luggages at hand, tickets at hand, the trip was set for a passionate ride at the military camp.
Two months later, Aaron stood in the boot camp training field. The sun shone through the sky with a wide view upon the military recruits dressed in camouflage uniforms for their training.
At boot camp, Aaron faced the harshness of military discipline and physical endurance, but his determination kept him going.
Challenges were tough, they honed his body and mind in ways he never imagined. Through sweat, pain and doubt, Aaron learned the value of teamwork, leadership and resilience.
Aaron was shaken by his military obligations and guarded his time to have the best of training.
