Blurb

She was born with fire in her veins — a forbidden daughter of two rival realms.

He was the Crown Prince sworn to destroy her kind.

When their worlds collide in the midst of a thousand-year curse, desire becomes a weapon sharper than any blade.

Every glance ignites a war between duty and longing. Every secret unravels a kingdom. And every kiss might be the beginning of the end.

But fate has already written their names in the stars — in blood, betrayal, and love that defies gods.

“Bound by Blood and Stardust” is a dark fantasy romance where love burns, loyalty breaks, and destiny demands a price no one can afford to pay. Perfect for fans of Throne of Glass, A Court of Thorns and Roses, and Shadow and Bone.

🌒 Chapter One: The Girl in the Market of Shadows
The night market of Aerath smelled of spice, smoke, and sin. Lanterns swung lazily from the crooked beams of merchant stalls, painting the cobbled streets in molten gold and crimson. Music drifted between the alleys — low, strange tunes from distant kingdoms — mixing with the cries of vendors and the soft clink of coins. Liora moved through it like a ghost. Her hood shadowed her face, her fingers tucked deep in the folds of her worn cloak, the edges singed from too many nights near open fire. She knew this market well — every thief, every whisper, every hidden stairway that led out when the guards came through. But tonight was different. There was an unease humming beneath her skin, a soft pulse that didn’t belong to fear but to something older. She’d felt it all day — the way her reflection in the brass mirror shimmered for a heartbeat too long, the way the candles flickered away from her instead of toward her. Magic. Her magic. The thing she’d buried for years. Liora pressed a hand to her chest, as if she could force it back down where it belonged. “Not here,” she whispered to herself, voice trembling. “Not again.” She couldn’t risk it. Not in Aerath — not when whispers of the “Blood Witch” were spreading through the city like plague. Someone jostled her shoulder. “Watch it,” a man spat, then caught her eyes — and froze. Her irises, a storm of silver and deep red, glowed faintly beneath the hood. She quickly turned away, muttering an apology, but the damage was done. The man’s voice followed her: “Did you see that? Her eyes—” Liora’s heart stumbled. She ducked into the nearest alley, pressing herself against the damp wall. The air here was cooler, heavy with the smell of wet stone and rain that hadn’t yet fallen. She shut her eyes. Breathe in. Breathe out. You are no one. You are ordinary. You are safe. But she wasn’t. Not tonight. The guards had been searching for the Blood Witch for weeks — a woman said to carry the cursed bloodline that could unmake kingdoms. Every tavern tale twisted her into something monstrous: a temptress with skin like fire, a demon who drank stars, a ghost who seduced men and vanished with their souls. If only they knew she was just… a girl who wanted peace. She straightened her cloak and kept moving, deeper into the maze of stalls. “Liora.” The voice stopped her cold. It was low, smooth, unmistakably male — a whisper that felt like a shadow brushing the back of her neck. She turned sharply, but saw only the press of strangers, the blur of motion. No one had called her name in months. No one should have known it here. “Who’s there?” she demanded quietly. Silence. Then a flicker — not sound, not sight, but a presence, like air bending around a blade. And then she saw him. He stood at the end of the alley, half-lit by lantern glow. A man dressed in dark silver armor that seemed forged from moonlight itself. His face was sharp, almost cruel in its beauty, his hair a pale gold that looked white beneath the night. A Celestial. No — not just any Celestial. His aura was too strong, too heavy with command. His eyes, a cold burning blue, watched her as though he could see through every lie she’d ever told. Liora froze. She’d heard stories of the Celestial Prince — the hunter of her kind, the man who’d sworn to cleanse the world of cursed blood. But stories didn’t do him justice. He was not the angel the poets sang of. He was a storm. And right now, that storm was walking toward her. “Stay where you are,” she said, trying to sound stronger than she felt. He didn’t. Each step echoed in her chest like a drum. When he spoke, his voice carried the calm of someone who didn’t need to raise it to be obeyed. “You shouldn’t be here, half-blood.” Her throat went dry. “You have the wrong person.” “Do I?” His eyes flicked to the faint shimmer beneath her hood — the glint of unnatural color that betrayed her blood. “The curse hides poorly when it’s afraid.” Liora took a step back. Her hand brushed against a wooden crate — fruit spilled to the ground with a dull thud. People turned. The noise drew attention. “Please,” she whispered, “don’t.” Something flickered behind his eyes — curiosity, hesitation, or maybe something darker. But the moment passed, replaced by the hard chill of duty. “I don’t have a choice.” He reached for her. And the world exploded. A burst of scarlet light tore through the air between them, throwing him backward. Lanterns shattered, flames leaped, and the market erupted into chaos — screams, smoke, the sound of glass raining like stars. Liora’s pulse thundered. Her power — the power she’d sworn never to use — was alive, furious, wild. The Celestial Prince rose slowly from the wreckage, eyes blazing with a mix of shock and something that looked almost like awe. “You are her,” he breathed. “The witch who can burn starlight.” She ran. The night swallowed her whole, and behind her, the prince whispered a vow only the gods could hear. “I will find you again.”
