Narrator’s POV—
Chris parked his car and strode straight to the mansion. He was about to ring the doorbell when he found the door already open. He once knocked on the door and called out softly, “Hello! Mr Dalton?” But no reply came! Chris sighed in a relief. He actually wasn’t really eager to meet anyone other than Samantha. He wasn’t even sure if Mr Dalton was at home or not! What he came to know was that Samantha was at her father’s house along with Nikita. Chris slowly walked in taking tentative steps. He didn’t know exactly how he will convince Sammy but he knew that he would have to do everything needed to convince her. He cannot live away from her!
