The thing was, my soul couldn’t be eased right now. It was being weighed down by a very particular question. Not to mention, I was unsettled still about Adam’s reasoning for agreeing to go on the hunting excursion. I didn’t want him to pursue this just for me. This had to be for him. Change, in any means, couldn’t be based on changing for someone else. It was manipulative and unsustainable.
If he wanted to seek out inner growth and peace with his wolf, that was something he needed to want himself. It was okay if there was an underlying motivation, such as wanting to be that rock I needed. But to solely be the reason for this so called journey to speed up the process of becoming one with his wolf, I wasn’t okay with that.
