‘Wow!’ Lana cried out involuntarily, in amazement. The monumental sight fascinated her so much that she could think of nothing else to say. Hayden slowed the car, and as she repeated her emotional outburst, he turned to her with a smile. ‘They were already standing here the same way when I was born. Everlasting giants.’ Lana smiled back at him and held onto his left hand even tighter.
