30 I had a restless night after hearing that Toby had been shot. I was so certain that any so-called beneficiary of the will would let the legal system take Toby out of the picture. Either the wannabe inheritor needed to be certain rather than play percentages, or the attack was not related to the will. I didn’t know Toby that well. He could have enemies. However, I still believed the hit was related, and felt somewhat guilty as a result. I shouldn’t have been so certain. I was more curious than eager to see Toby and was glad for another day before my flight. The highlight was my family therapy interview with the Blunts. Tim was the depressed adolescent who had big dreams of playing football for the high school team, but never got a chance when his parents refused to give their approval.
