Episode Six I’m sure I’ve already told you about starship-grade missiles. Starship torpedoes aren’t terribly different in principle, as they’re both delivery mechanisms for mass devastation. But comparing the two is a bit like saying my endurance assault craft is the same as a fully armed battlecruiser—there are significant differences in both scale and intended purpose. While missiles are used against fighters and other small targets with light armor, torpedoes are used against warships. Large and powerful, they’re designed to blow through the layers of armor protecting even the biggest capital ships. Torpedoes themselves come in a few grades with the largest the size of six or seven people. As such, there aren’t many ships designed to use the things, since they’re so awkward to handle
