She took a breath. "We did it. We broke the cycle."

Aarav nodded slowly. "But where are we?"

The voice answered, its tone neither cruel nor kind.

"You stand in the space between fates. The path ahead is unwritten."

Saanvi’s fingers tightened around Aarav’s. "So, what happens if we walk forward?"

"You will step into a fate of your own making. Free from destiny. Free from time."

Aarav's breath hitched. "And if we go back?"

"You will return to the mortal world. But your immortality will not."

Saanvi’s heart pounded. She and Aarav had walked through centuries together, defying time itself. If they returned, they would finally be mortal again.
