"This isn't your last race but it is your last race with us." Luke says, looking into my eyes.
"I don't want it to be the last race with you guys." I say with tears in my eyes, threatening to fall.
"Trust me we don't either, you're our best driver." He says taking my face in his hands, "And when you leave, I promise we will come for you and find you, I promise baby."
"You can't promise that Luke, you and both know it." My eyes start tearing up, "I don't want to leave you Luke."

"Luke too?" I ask Amanda, who is still standing by the door.
"Yeah, remember we we're at the party with you last night?" She laughs, "You we're pretty messed up last night I'd be surprised if you did."
"Oh c'mon Amanda, you know when I party, I really party." I say raising my eyebrows.
She nods her head, "very true." She laughs. "Now go upstairs and take a shower because the three of us are going shopping for that school dance thing I heard about."
Again with that damn dance?
"The three of us?" I ask her, maybe she meant Alice can come with us..?
"Yeah me, you, and Luke, just like old times." She smiles. "Now go!" She ushers me upstairs.
Old times is what made us move here.
After a shower, I let my hair air dry, into its natural curly state, and do my normal make up with a little bit of eye shadow, eyeliner and mascara. After that I fit into some light blue skinny jeans and a dark grey, light sweater, and get my black heels to match.
When I step off the last step of the stairs, making a loud clack because of my heel, all six eyes are on me, but only a pair of dark green ones stand out.
Luke.
What is he doing in my house?
"Hi." He says.
The last time I saw him, was at the party last night. I remember now. Chase told him off.
"Hey." I say, rolling my eyes, as I walk to the side table by the door and grab my wallet and keys.
I turn to Amanda, "I'll just follow you there, okay?" I say and walk out the front door to go to my car, when I get into the driver's seat I put the key in the ignition and turn it so the engine roars to life. I wait for Amanda and Luke to come out of the house and pull out because they're parked behind me.
I pull out my phone and grab the aux cord, that is connected to the new radio I installed, and start playing a radio on my YouTube red account. I start listening to the first song that comes on is True Love by Pink, this was mine and Luke's song.
As they both walk out the door, and pass my car, of course both my windows had to be down, right as Luke walks up to the side of the car, he stops, as if this is the first time he has heard the song since I moved away. He looks at me through the passenger window for what feels like five minutes. Then he opens the door and gets in.
I look at him in confusion, but before I could say anything he leans over and softly kisses me. I was taken by surprise, and pull away for a second and look at him in his green eyes, and suddenly everything came rushing back.
All the memories and feelings and I, once again realized that I loved this boy, so much some would say it isn't possible. A small smile forms on my lips and I lean in again. Wanting and needing the feeling I get in my stomach when I'm around him, when I kiss him. When I moved up here I told myself that I would get over Luke and not date again, like I was before we started dating. Luke changed me, in a way no one else could so when I lost him I wanted to go back to the girl I was before, the more of a rebel then I already am and the girl who never cared what people thought of her. When life was easy, when you didn't fall in love, and then loose it and get it back again, but then some of us loose it again, and never get it back. I am one of the lucky people who just might get it back.
There's a honk behind us where Amanda is parked, she sticks her head out the window and yells, "Come on, love birds, we need to go!"
We pull apart and I laugh while Luke just chuckles and shakes his head at our friend's impatience.
I put the car in reverse and back out of the drive way and follow Amanda to the mall to try and find a dress for this dance.
