I thought coming back to the office will help but, it turns out I'm wrong. I still feel very disconnected within and Serene's been the only one running through my mind. It's hard not to feel the ghost of her presence in my office room. It's hard not to think of her smile. It's also hard not to get worried about where she is at the moment.
My heart speaks differently from my mind when it comes to her. I hate and I love her at the same time. I say I don't care for her yet, I'm very worried within.
"Whyte! You need to check the news now." Kourtney bursts into my office saying.
"What happened?" I ask but, she only picks up the remote control and turns on the tv.
