She's on her phone all through the way to the restaurant and even when our orders arrive, she's still on the phone. She seems to be typing and she smiles frequently as she focuses on the screen. It makes me curious to know what it is she's doing. A thought crosses my mind and it's 'what if she's messaging the guy whom she met back at the hotel' but I quickly brush it off. I need to pull myself together and stop acting weird.
"That's a bad table manner." I tell her and she pauses. The main reason I wanted her to come with me for launch was so we can talk. Talk about us and also the reason for her sudden change in attitude.
"It's just this game. I've been so into it." She replies and finally puts her phone away. In some way, I feel relief that it isn't the man from the hotel she's
