I fell asleep beside Allen after I left Whyte in the sitting room. Now that it's morning, I go out to check if he did stay like he said or if he left.
To my surprise, he's lying on the couch and still asleep. I move closer to him to get a better look at his face and his eyes open at once.
Shit! I thought he was asleep.
His lips turn up in a smile when he sees how close I am to him and I don't expect the next thing he does.
