" Princess hurry up ! I am running late, I had to attend a business meeting ", Leo called Kamya.
" Coming Bro ! Wait a sec! ", Kamya came while holding the plate decorated with flower and sweet.
She stood in front of Leo and asked , " How I am looking ? ", Kamya asked excitedly.
" Like a pumpkin ", Leo chided.
" Dad ! Bro is again teasing me ", Kamya pouted .
" Hey don't tease her, it's her day ", Derek scolded Leo.
" Like you will support in other days ", Leo rolled his eyes .
" Kamya ! Leo is running late . Tie the Rakhi on his wrist ", Derek said.
" Ok ! ", Kamya tied the Rakhi on Leo's right hand's wrist and fed him sweet.
" Princess your gift ", Leo gave her the papers of that he is going to form in the name of Kamya.
" Bro ! You are the bestb", Kamya hugged Leo tightly.
" I know , soon the construction will be started", Leo smiled.
" Bro it's good news but I also want something else ", Kamya asked hesitantly.
" Sure! take my card . You can use my card ,buy whatever you want. Now happy ", Leo gave his card to Kamya.
" Bro , I don't want it . I need your and Dad's pemission ", Kamya gave back the card to Leo.
" What is it ? " , Leo asked calmly .
" Princess don't hesitate, if it is in my hands then no problem ", Derek assured.
" Dad ! Bro! I got selected in the best medical college , this is my call letter and guess what I also my desired specialisations ", Kamya informed.
" What? You didn't informed us ", Derek panicked .
" But bro ! It's the best medical college . I always dreamt to study there . Besides both mom and dad completed their medical studies there. I wanted to be amazing doctor like them. You will support me huh !", Kamya asked with hope.
" You are not going anywhere . If you wanted to complete your medical studies , then you can get addmission in Sikkim othererwise I have no problem feeding you and giving you a hood life for whole life with doing nothing ", Derek announced strictly.
" Dad is right ! You are not big enough to live alone in such a big country ", Leo said calmly.
" But it's the best college . My future will be bright there . I will get a chance to learn something extra ordinary ", Kamya tried to persuade them.
" Kamya you will not go anywhere , that's final ", Derek ordered.
" Dad ! I will and no one can stop me ", Kamya saod with adampt look .
" You decided it huh ! Fine ! then consider from the moment when you step out of this house to pursue your dream , you will no longer will be my daughter . You will not have any relation with me and Leo ", Derek warned her emotionally .
" No Dad ! You can't it's my dream . That's not fair ", Kamya cried but Derek remained unaffected .
" Dad ....", When Leo tried to give suggestion Derek showed his hand and said , " If you tries to support her , I will consider that I don't have son ", Derek warned Leo.
" Dad , you can't threaten us ! All I want is to follow my dream . How could you stop me !!! ", Kamya screamed .
" I don't want to hear anything", Derek yelled on Kamya.
" You are bieng stubborn then fine ! I am your daughter and no one can stop me not your emotional drama ", Kamya protested stubbornly.
" Go to your room ", Derek ordered.
" No ! I will not. Now I am big enough to take my own decisions ", Kamya denied.
" What did you say ? ", Derek asked.
" What you don't want to hear ! From childhood you were so controlling , I thought its your love. You are scared of losing me like mom but no I was wrong . You wanted to control my life . ", Kamya daid bluntly.
" Kamya !!! ", Derek slapped her for the first time due to anger.
" Dad !! ", Leo screeched.
When Derek realised what he did ,he gasped and apologised , " I am sorry princess ! I didn't mean to hurt you ", tears blurred his vision.
" Not need for apology ! You know I never felt the mom's absence but today you reminds me that mom is no more ,if she is with us I wouldn't have to beg for my dreams . I hate you ", Kamya cried and ran to her room.
" Dad ! You shouldn't have to lose your temper like this. You hurt our princess at least not today ", Leo said with disdainful look on his face.
" Don't tell me what should I have have to do ? All I want is the well being of my daughter ", Derek scolded Leo.
" Dad ! Don't be harsh on princess , when I will come back from business meeting we will talk about this matter calmly , I am sure we will find a solution . ", Leo explained .
" Leo , she is innocent . She don't know how this world works . She don't know what kind of danger is waiting outside . I promised Kamya that I will never let her end up like her mother . For that if I have to upset her then be it ", Derek said.
" But dad ! She will not be alone there . She will stay with Grandma and Grandpa besides I am trying to settle my business in U.S and you can also shift with us if you don't want to leave Kamya . By this way you can keep an eye on her ", Leo suggested .
" It's not easy as it looks like ", Derek sighed .
" But why ? ", Leo asked with annoyed look on his face.
" Leo you should have to leave for your business meeting ", Derek cut him off .
Leo nodded his head and left from there.

It's been whole day Kamya didn't come out from her room , Derek tried to call her bur everytime she turned her deaf ears towards him.
Besides Derek didn't forced her as he knew that his daughter needed some time to calm down, he is sure that the next morning she will run towards him and hug him tightly , she does it everytime when they had a fight .
" You know nah my hands are tied ! I can't send her there what if she came of knew about past ? What if your ugly past hurt her . I want to protect her ! Did I do right thing ? ", Derek asked while caressing the photo of his late wife .
"She missed you today! I tried every possible way to give the all love on your behalf but still felt your need ", Derek throat choked with the tears , he hugged the photo and closed his eyes.

" I am sorry dad ! But you don't left any other options for me ", Kamya for one last time turned back to see her home which she is leaving for her dream.
She hailed the cab to the airport for her flight to Delhi .
On her way she was crying while thinking about her dad ,it wasn't hard for her but she don't have any other option , she had to fill all her formalities within three days ,there is no more time left to convince her family.
" Mom ! I am not wrong .I wanted to a renowned doctor like dad , I wanted to save the life of poor people and it can be possible only this way . I promise that I will not dissappoint you .", Kamya promised to herself .
Suddenly the cab stopped with a jerk , " What happened ? ", Kamya asked
" I think someone collided with my cab ", the driver come out of cab , Kamya too hopped out of cab.
" Oh my god !! ", She gasped when she saw a man covered with blood lying semi unconscious on the road. He looks nearly in his thirties and he us wounded by the bullet in his left arm .
" Mam ! We should have to leave this man here, if something happens to him . We might get stuck in the legal trouble ", the driver suggested.
Kamya thought about it , the driver was right she don't have time but her principles did't allowed her to leave the injured man alone.
" Help me to take him to the hospital ", Kamya asked to driver.
"Mam ! Don't be mad .The police not leave us until they will be done with their investigation . And most probably we will be the first suspect ", the driver tried to make her understand.
" I don't care, right now my priority is to save his life. And if police will ask for any kind of investigation I will step forward, you will be remain unharmed that's my words. Now help me !! ", Kamya asked.
" I will leave after dropping you two to the hospital ", the driver warned before helping her.
" Fine ! ", Kamya said and both put the man inside the car , Kamya carefully rested the head of that man on her lap while patting hus cheeks so that he will not close his eyes.
" Hold on !! You are brave man .Nothing will happen to you ", Kamya encouraged him , she didn't know when tears started brimming from her eyes and fell on the lips of that man.
That man hold the hand of Kamya tightly and mumbled , " Angel !! ".
In meantime they reached to the hospital , she admitted him to the emergency , when doctor saw the case they denied for it as it's police case , first the ivestigation will be held then they will take action.
" What the nonsense it this ? Can't you see he is in critical condition , he needed emergency treatment otherwise he will die ", Kamya scolded the doctors.
"Mam ! What relation he had with you ", the doctor asked.
"Ahmmmm.....he is my fiance ", Kamya lied .
