" You are lying! A girl at a such young age can't be his fiance ", the doctor exclaimed.

" I am not lying! he is my fiance, don't make the scene! take him to the emergency room ", Kamya yelled.

The doctors were still in a dilemma, Kamya noticed it, " So you don't believe in me huh !! ", Kamya hold the hand of the injured man and wiped the blood from his lips.

" Very soon you will be fine. So sorry but I don't have any other option". She kissed the lips of that man.

" Now you got proof huh! Now do your work ", Kamya yelled at the staff.

" Mam! Please fill in the formalities and pay the amount for treatment then we will proceed with the treatment ", the doctor informed Kamya.

" How much? " Kamya asked.

" Nearly fifty thousand ", the doctor informed.

" I don't have enough cash! Can I pay you the half amount in a few days? You can take my number ", Kamya asked.

" No! We can't it's against our policy ", the doctor denied.

" OK ! take this but please take him to the emergency room ", Kamya gave her gold chain to the doctor.

" Nurse! Take him to the emergency room ", the nurse took out the phone and purse from the pockets of the clothes of patients and give it to Kamya.

"Its battery off maybe his family is trying to reach him ", she took the charger of her phone and charged it.

She was waiting outside the emergency room when the phone of that stranger rang Kamya picked up the call and informed the person on the other side of the phone call about the accident.

" Please reach the hospital as soon as possible, ", Kamya informed.

" Ok ! Send me the location of the hospital ", the man on the other side of the call asked.

" I will! In how much time you will reach here ? ", Kamya asked.

" I am on my way! Don't worry. I will talk to the hospital authority in case of an emergency. By the way thanks for helping my brother ", that man said.

" It's ok !! ", Kamya said and cut the call.

She was waiting for the doctor to come out of the emergency room while praying to god.

After a few hours doctor came out and informed Kamya that he is in danger, Kamya sighed in relief and left the hospital as she had to reach Delhi international airport as soon as possible.

It was a long journey to Delhi for Kamya and now she is waiting for her flight. Thanks to her grandparents who arranged every necessary legal formality, her grandfather had contact with many influential people in the U.S.

" I am sorry dad! but all I am doing is to make you and mom proud ", Kamya sniffed and went to check in.

She took her seat and when the captain announced the take-off flight she closed her eyes and said a final goodbye. " Soon! I will come back ", Kamya whispered.

" Did Kamya woke up ? ", Derek asked the maid.

" No, she didn't! Even since morning, I didn't see her coming out of her room ", the maid informed.

" She must be angry with me! Let me talk to her ", Derek said and went to her room.

" Princess! Princess! Open the door. I am sorry for the last night ", Derek knocked on the door of her bedroom but she didn't reply.

" Princess! You are making me scared. Open the door otherwise, I will not have any other option than breaking the door ", Derek got panicked and knocked on the door harshly but he didn't receive any kind of response except silence.

Derek kicked the door while screaming Kamya's name. In meantime, other servants gathered to help Derek.

When the door broke Derek barged inside the room while screaming the name of Kamya. Horror was consumed by his whole body when he didn't find Kamya in her room.

" Sir ! Kamya baby left a letter ", the maid handed the letter which was kept on the side table of the bed.

Derek opened it and when he started reading his face turned pale.

" Dad! When you will read this letter, I must have left for the journey to my dream. I know that I am going against you but you didn't leave any other option for me. Since my childhood I dreamt to be a doctor like you dad, you are my inspiration, my idol. I know it's hard for you to stay away from me but trust me I will come back to you when I will be a doctor.

Love you, dad, don't worry about me grandma and Grandpa are there for me to take care "

Derek crushed the letter and threw it on the dustbin." AHHH.....What did you do Kamya ? ", he cried.

Finally, Kamya reached the country of her dreams, she always wanted to come here but every time Derek avoided coming to the U.S. like its a kind of plaque.

Kamya came out of the airport when she found her grandparents were waiting for her eagerly.

" Grandpa! Grandma !! I miss you ", Kamya hugged her grandparents.

" Princess you have grown into a beautiful lady ", Celia hugged Kamya.

" My princess! you look so beautiful ", Darren praised her granddaughter.

" You too look handsome day by day ", Kamya said playfully

"Let's go home! You must be tired from the long journey ", Celia said and they all went home.

" This is your home where your mom, dad, and Leo lived before your birth ", Celia informed.

" It's so big and beautiful! It's the same as Leo bro had described. Grandma why did Mom leave the U.S. when they were living in such an excellent mansion", Kamya asked.

" You must be hungry. Hurry up and freshen up so that we could have dinner ", Celia tried to avoid her unexpected question.

" Grandma! Did you take me as a fool? You are hiding something huh, tell me the truth ", Kamya asked with a serious look.

Sweat beads started forming on the foreheads of both Celia and Derren, they tried to avoid the suspicious glares Kamya.

" I am waiting for your answer! Tell me what is dad hiding, I know it's related to my mom ", Kamya asked strictly.

" Nothing it's just they wanted to live in India, besides your mom wanted a peaceful life there in her motherland ", Darren explained.

" Oh come on! Stop lying. I knew the whole truth. Dad loves mom and they both wanted to build a big hospital where poor people can get excellent medical facilities free of cost but unfortunately, mom left this world before she could fulfill her dream and dad got busy taking care of us, their dream remained a dream but I will fulfill it that's why I came here ", Kamya said with moist eyes.

" We are proud of you princess !! ", Darren ruffled her hair.

" Then you should have to be thankful to Leo bro, do you know he bought the land for the construction of the hospital and the government gave the permit? Leo bro is also funding it, soon it will be formed ", Kamya said excitedly.

" If you need any financial help then feel free to ask ", Celia asked.

" Yes! Charity begins at home ", Kamya grinned.

" Our little princess has become mature, your mother must be happy from heaven.", Derren said.

" I am starving ! ", Kamya caressed her grumbling tummy.

" Grandma! Dinner was awesome, you have magic in your hands ", Kamya burped while rubbing her tummy.

" From now you will have food made by me, I am so happy ", Celia said excitedly

Kamya cleared her throat to grab their attention and said," Grandma ! I have taken an important decision ", Kamya announced.

" What is it, princess? We will be on your side if it's for your well-being ", Darren supported Kamya.

Kamya smiled nervously and said, " Grandma ! Grandpa ! I don't want to depend on you anymore, I mean from now I wanted to try to be self-dependent. I wanted to pay for my expenses, even for my medical studies ".

"That's good! You know I needed a waiter for my cafeteria you can work there and I will pay you so that you can pay for your expenses ", Celia said calmly.

" Stop it, Celia, she doesn't need to work, you are the Granddaughter of Darren Greyson. You don't need to work ", Darren denied.

" Grandpa! Since childhood I was under the shadows of dad and bro, they even didn't tell me the meaning of hardships let alone to learn it ", Kamya explained.

"It's because you are precious to us ", Derren snapped.

" But grandpa by this way I can't understand how this world works! If I will not be able to feel the pain of poor people then how could I help them . I need to see what the real struggle is ? ", Kamya reasoned.

" You don't need it! If you wanted to help poor people you can donate money as much as you want we don't have objection but I won't let you struggle for a few bucks ", Darren said adamantly.

" Honey! We should have to support her decision, I believe that women should learn to be independent ", Celia supported Darren.

" But what about Derek, we had already disappointed him by helping Kamya and now this step will hurt him badly ", Darren explained his concern.

" She is his blood and now she is walking in her father's footsteps. Don't forget Derek took the same decision when he was the same age as Kamya ", Celia said with a chuckle.

" That brat was such a rebel, those of his age were using their parent's money like water and he was struggling with earning a single penny by himself. I got such a stubborn son and his daughter is driving me crazy in the same way ", Derren said with a proud smirk.

" Grandpa! One day I make you and dad proud of me ", Kamya hugged Derren.

" I have a condition that you will have dinner with us every weekend and if you have any problem in the future you will call us first ", Celia asked.

" Of course, you are the only person that I can trust ", Kamya said.

" Ok It's late you should have to sleep ", Darren said strictly.

" Grandpa! I am worried for dad, he never stayed for so long without me. Let me call him first ", Kamya asked.

" Sure! I was about to call him to inform him about your arrival ", Darren said.

" He must be angry with me ! ", Kamya chewed her lips nervously.

" He is but he can't get angry with you for so long " Celia comforted Kamya.

Kamya called on Derek's number while praying for inside -being, Derek picked up the call but didn't say anything.

There was a pregnant pause on the phone call, except silence and a faint sniff there is nothing to hear.

" Derek! Spit out your anger and talk to her. She is worried about you ", Celia broke the awkward silence.

" Dad! I am sorry but you didn't leave any other option for me, you wanted to scold me, punish m, curse me and do whatever you want but talk to me because I know by this way you are hurting yourself. I am sorry dad ! ", Kamya cried.

"I am done with your fake concern! You didn't think once before running away from home. You didn't think a single time that how I will feel, you only cared about our dreams You are a selfish and ungrateful daughter ", Derek cursed.

" Son! It was not her fault we suggested her to come to the U.S so that she could fulfill her dream ", Derren tried to explain.

" Dad! Don't take her side. I know her better than anyone else. It's ok she made her choice and now it's my time to made choice. Either you come back I will forgive you or stay there but remember from today she and I don't have any relation and if she tried to talk to me she will see my corpse ", Derek announced.

" Dad! Please don't make it difficult for me, I beg you ", Kamya begged.

" Sorry but you didn't leave any choice for me ", Derek said adamantly

" Derek don't be so cruel to her, she is young ", Celia scolded.

" Mom, she is big enough to make choices ", Derek taunted Kamya.

" Dad! Please don't do this ", Kamya asked.

" I don't have that much time, either come back to the next flight to India or forget about me, consider yourself an orphan ", Derek said rudely but only he knew how much pain he was feeling right now.

" Grandpa! Please tell him to stop his stubbornness ", Kamya cried.

" Son! We can talk about this matter peacefully, don't behave like that in rage ", Derren tried to convince him.

" Mom ! Dad! It's a matter between the daughter and father. Let her choose what she wants ", Derek snapped back with a cold expression.

" Dad! I love you, our bond can't break so easily ", Kamya wiped her tears.

Derek's cold expression got softened," I know my daughter will choose me ", Derek said.

" Dad! I know right now you are scared of losing me but trust me I will stay by your side forever. Nobody can separate us. Even not my dream. Soon you will realize that what I did was right .", Kamya said calmly.

" What? When will you come back ? ", Derek asks with a frown.

" Soon very soon! After I completed my medical studies ", Kamya smiled.

Shock, anxiety, and pain engulfed Der ver expected that his princess will abandon him for her dream. Once again after eighteen years, he felt the same pain when Kavya left him forever.

" Dad! Dad! Are you there? Please answer me! You are making me scared ", Kamya screamed.

" You left me !! Your dad is no more ", Derek said he hanged the call and then switched off his phone.

" No! What did I do? I abandoned my dad! I need to go back. He must be in pain . ", Kamya cried.

" Princess! Try to be strong, what you did was right and soon Derek will understand. Right now he is not in his right senses ", Celia consoled Kamya.

" Grandma! Will dad will talk to me again ? ", Kamya asked.

" Yes! he can't get angry with you for so long ", Celia hugged Kamya.

" Are you sure ? ", Kamya asked with glittering eyes.

" I know my son better than anyone . ", Celia assured.

" And if still, I mean by any chance he remained angry with me ", Kamya asked with a scared look on her face.

"Then we will bother him for forgiveness until he gets tired of us ", Derren said.

"It's not fair you can't bother my dad !! ", Kamya made a fake angry face.

Both Celia and Derren laughed and hugged Kamya, " Very soon you will be reunited with your dad ", Celia whispered.

Leo came back from his business tour when he entered his home. The scary silence sends chills down his bones, his six senses started screaming of happening

" Dad! Princess! Where are you ? ", Leo called them impatiently

" Master! Old master is in his room ", the maid informed.

" Where is Kamya? How is she ? ", Leo asked.

The maid shook her head and said, " You need to see old master, he had locked himself in his room", she informed .
