*Chapter 3* Jameson and Rodriguez exchanged a look, their minds racing again with possibilities. "Let's get to that warehouse," Jameson said, already heading out the door. As they arrived at the abandoned warehouse, they could feel the tension in the air. The building loomed before them, dark and foreboding. They drew their guns and cautiously entered the warehouse. "Sarah!" Jameson called out, his voice echoing off the walls. "Are you here?" There was no response. Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows. It was a woman, her face obscured by a hoodie. "Who are you?" Rodriguez demanded, her g*n trained on the woman. The woman slowly pulled back her hood, revealing a shocking sight. It was Sarah Langley, but her eyes were sunken, her skin pale, and her hair disheveled. "Sarah, what's going on?" Jameson asked, his voice softening. Sarah's eyes darted around the warehouse, as if she feared being overheard. "I was taken," she whispered. "He's been holding me captive. He says I'll never leave this place alive." Rodriguez's eyes narrowed. "Who is he? Where is he?" Sarah's eyes locked onto something behind the detectives. "He's...he's right behind you." Jameson and Rodriguez spun around, their guns raised. A figure emerged from the shadows, his face twisted into a sinister grin. "Welcome, detectives," he sneered. "I've been expecting you." Jameson's eyes widened as he realized who they were dealing with. "It's you," he growled. "You're the one who's been sending the letters and gifts." The man nodded, his eyes gleaming with madness. "I'm the one who's been waiting for Sarah. And now, she'll never escape me again." The detectives knew they had to act fast. They couldn't let this deranged stalker harm Sarah again. But as they moved forward, they realized they were trapped...
