Hello, I'm New
Zach’s POV  *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*  “Ugh” I groan loudly as my hand fumbles around on my nightstand searching for the current source of my misery. I find it quick and in a matter of seconds my fist connects with the plastic button effectively returning my room to quiet.   “Zach, Honey. Are you awake? You should start getting ready, you don’t want to be late for your new school.”  My mom calls from downstairs. I sit up straighter at the mention of school. I almost forgot I start a new school today. I stretch my arms and stand up from my bed, deciding it wouldn’t be a good idea to miss the first day. I stumble to my bathroom to start getting ready as whiffs of my mom’s cooking reach me from downstairs  - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -  After getting ready I grab my backpack and bound down the stairs, narrowly avoiding trampling my little sister at the landing.   “Good morning, ma” I call kissing her cheek on my way to my seat at the table.  “Good morning sweetie. Did you sleep well?” She questions, setting a plate of bacon and eggs in front of me.  “Yup, I’m ready to take Asphodel High by storm.”  “You mean that in a solely positive way I hope.”  “Of course, mom. All good things.” I finish the rest of my food and take a look at my phone, “I should probably head to school now mom.”  “All right. Have a nice day sweetie. Make some new friends.” She calls after me as I shut the door behind me. I start running to my new school letting my house and everything else blur behind me as I run.  - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -  I walk into the office on the direction from one of the students. The secretary smiles at me from behind her desk.  “Hello,” I give her a kind smile,” I’m Zach Stripe, this is my first day here.”  She looks down at her computer and types what I assume to be my name before her smile widens a bit and she looks back up at me. “So, you’re the boy with the football skills that Coach Thorn admires so much.”  I blush slightly at the compliment, “I guess so, I didn’t know he watched me play.”  “He has and will probably want to talk to you before you go to class. Just take a seat over there he should be done shortly.” She says pointing to the chairs in the corner. I go to sit down at the seats she pointed to but just as I set myself down on the plush cushions, a load bang followed by a crash was very easily heard coming from the coach’s office.   “No, no, and did I mention hell no?”  *crash*  I heard a more conversation going on behind the closed door, but they must have quieted down because now all the words were muffled, and I couldn’t make out distinct words. The conversation went on for a few more minutes before.    *slam*  I lift my head up to look at the person walking out of the coach’s office and see a beautiful girl. Not just beautiful she was hot. I mean I wouldn’t stay with her, but she might be good for a night. Maybe ju-  “Hey f*cktard, you can stop staring at me now.” She said in a harsh angry tone before flipping me off and stocking out of the office. With an attitude like that I’m not interested but I’m curious. A few seconds later I hear the door open again and open my eyes to see coach Thorn walk out. I stand up to greet him and he raises his eyes to meet mine.  “it’s good to see you again, Zach.”
