Evan never brought her the gift. He never came to speak to her or even tell her goodbye. He just left. Ally watched as he carried the boxes to the car. As he left for good, he never even looked back. He was just gone. Ally made a promise then that she would never intentionally cross paths with him again, and as much as she was heartbroken, she wished him happiness in the life he had chosen.
A few years ago Lauri had tragically died in a car accident. It came out that she had been having an affair with Evan’s best friend Kyle, and that they had previously had an affair while Evan was living in Minnesota. Rumors began to swirl that Kiana was Kyle’s daughter and not Evan’s. A paternity test proved the rumors to be true. All the drama and scandal Evan’s mom had tried to squelch, came to the surface any way. A custody arrangement was made. Eventually Evan started dating again, and from what Josh and Jake tell her the new girlfriend is everything Ally pictured she would be. She was tall, blonde, thin, and from a very successful family. All things Ally could never be.
Ally had just been a distraction while he got his life together. He walked out of her life and her home without looking back. He likely would not be happy to have her back in his life in any capacity. If any thing he likely thought she was stupid for believing she could ever be a part of his future.
