my name is Elijah Smith, and I've been an orphan for as long as I can remember. growing up in the orphanage was tough, but it taught me to rely on my own strength and passion. music became my escape, my comfort, and my driving force. as I grew older, i began to pursue music as a career. I worked tirelessly to hone my craft, and eventually, my hard work paid off. I started earning money from my music ,and it felt like a dream come true. but with success comes temptation, and I soon found myself at a crossroads. this is my story -a story of passion perseverance, and the choice that define us scene : recording studio Eli sits in the recording studio, surrounded by his team ,as they finalize the mixing and mastering of his new song. the energy in the room is electric, and everyone is excited about the song is potential (Eli's engineer alex) alex: alright, Eli, it's time to make some magic happen eli nods, takes a deep breath, and begins to rap, the music swirls around him, and his voice soars. when he finishes, the room erupts in cheers and applause team member 1: that's a hit, Eli ! you're going to blow up! team member 2: we're going to make some noise with this one ! Eli smiles, feeling proud and relieved. he thanks his team and heads out of the studio, eager to share the new with his girlfriend, Naomi CUT TO Naomi's house Eli arrives at naomi's house, a modest home in a quiet neighborhood. Naomi answer the door, smiling warmly. she's a beautiful young woman with long curly hair and bright, expressive eyes naomi : hey, baby! I'm so proud of you ! how did the recording go? eli : it was amazing ! the song is fire, and I know it's going to do big things naomi's eye lights up, and she hugs Eli tightly. Naomi : I'm so happy for you, Eli. you deserve all the success in the world .Mr Elijah Smith as they hugged, Eli notice a bible on the coffee table. Naomi's father is a pastor, and she's a devout Christian. Eli respects her faith, but he's not as religious. Naomi looks at Eli with a serious expression. Naomi : Eli, I want you to come to church with me tomorrow. eli : Naomi, I don't know...I'm not really into church. Naomi : Eli, you used to love singing in the choir. What happened to you? eli : I just grew out of it, okay? And I'm focused on my music career now. naomi : I remember when you first started singing in the choir. You were so passionate, so full of life. And I supported you when you decided to pursue music. But now, I feel like I'm losing you. eli : Naomi, don't say that. I'm still the same person. And I appreciate your support. Naomi : Then prove it. Come to church with me tomorrow. If you don't, I don't know if I can keep going on like this. Eli looks at Naomi, seeing the determination in her eyes. He knows he can't lose her. eli : Okay, fine. I'll go to church with you tomorrow. Naomi's face lights up with a smile. naomi : Thank you, Eli. I'll pick you up at 9 am. The next day, Eli and Naomi attend church together. Eli is initially uncomfortable, but as the service progresses, he starts to feel a sense of peace. FADE OUT. Scene: Church Naomi's father, Pastor Brown, stands at the pulpit, preaching to the congregation. PASTOR BROWN : And God said, 'Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.' And so, we are all created in God's image, with unique gifts and talents. Eli leans over to Naomi and whispers. ELI : Hey, your dad's style has changed. NAOMI : What do you mean? ELI : His clothes used to be so... loose. Now they're all slim-fitted. Naomi giggles, and they both stifle their laughter as the preaching continues. PASTOR BROWN : And what are we to do with these gifts? We are to use them for God's glory! Eli looks at Naomi, and they share a moment of connection. FADE OUT. Scene: Street Naomi walks alongside Eli, enjoying the warm sunshine and the sound of birds chirping. NAOMI : Eli, I've been thinking... maybe you should reconsider your music career. ELI : What's wrong with my music career? NAOMI : I just think you could use your talents for God. You have such a gift, Eli. ELI : Naomi, I've told you before... I'm not giving up on my dreams. And I'm not going to use my music just to preach. NAOMI : But Eli, think about all the good you could do... ELI : Naomi, I promise you... something good will come out of this. And when I'm finally rich and successful, I'll come back and marry you. Naomi looks at Eli, her eyes shining with tears. NAOMI : Eli, that's not what I want. I want you to follow your heart, to do what's right... Eli looks away, his jaw set. Eli : I know what I'm doing, Naomi. Just trust me. Eli walks away, leaving Naomi standing alone on the sidewalk.
