Lost and Found

Waking up every time in bed isn’t easy as memories of my past kept flashing through my mind. I got up from bed sitting at the computer trying to go through my previous messages online. This is so hard, why can’t find anything about this girl. Doesn’t she exist? Is my mind playing games with me? I was getting frustrated. Slamming the computer shut I went outside for a short walk, Emily went to do some shopping or I could have asked her more about my life. The breeze was feeling so good on my now pale skin, I really felt drain and I don’t know why even though I would eat and eat it felt like I wasn’t getting anything into my system. Now wasn’t the time for me to fall sick, I was already in a coma I don’t need sickness in me as well. The place was getting dark I should better get heading back home, but where is home? Oh my gosh I went out without my phone. Another issue how am I supposed to get back? I was so frustrated about this whole thing that I forgot my phone with the only location to my home, which I can’t remember well. This was my life everything, everywhere makes no sense.

“Ahhh! I was so disgust to be honest why was this happening to me, and why can’t I find that bloody girl the only person who actually knew something. ‘wait, was I stupid? the program oh my gosh… I am stupid. they had a list of candidates on the screen, yes I could try looking there maybe they had her information, her address.

But the main idea now is how to get home, I am lost. Looking through I could see only trees. I was standing on the road side, maybe it was that way I said while looking at the sign board ahead. Did I pass that board? I think so. As I kept on walking I suddenly saw an injured rabbit who was trying to cross the road now on the roadside. What a poor creature? I suddenly felt another headache …Ahhh… as I collapse on the roadside, my head was pounding out of my body… this pain was so terrible that I feel like I was falling into the darkness.

“Wake up, said I voice I slowly open my eyes, who was that I look around I was in front of my house. How did I reach here? I remember been lost, my mouth it felt strange my stomach felt full like I was eating but I don’t remember eating anything for the day. I got up and went straight into the house. I was lost how did I meet here all of this was getting more complicated. My head was paining I went into the bathroom looking for the pill. I saw something which lead to more confusion. The pill was call hallucinogen. I hurried into the room, typing its name in... no way this pill causes illusions. What? Why? How? Questions fill my head. Why was Emily giving me these pills? she needs to answer some of my questions. Maybe she isn’t who I think she is? I got to get out of here I look through the information on the lab about the candidates. Yes, here it is …J… Jamie yes. I jump there she is. Her address is 2890 Bronx. I hurrily got up. I need to meet her and today is that day for this. Emily need to answer me but that’s for later. I need to go to this address. Rushing out the house, I was getting something. I caught an uber.

“Sir, could you please drive me to this address as I show him on my phone.

‘Yes, madam he replies.

“here we are he said.

“thank you I reply giving him some cash.

Walking towards the house, I saw a woman planting in her kitchen garden.

“hello, I look at her. Looking up without hesitation the woman grabs me into a hug.

“do I know you? I ask.

“Ava, she said.

“yes, I pull out the hug.

“honey, come let’s go inside, people are watching us she said. She was really freaking me out now.

We sat down on the couch. Here have some tea she handed me over it as I drank it.

“how are you feeling? She said.

“good I guess I reply.

“can you explain to me what is going on?

She began to tell me her story. “Ava you’re my daughter she said.

“what? I said shock. I am your daughter, how is that possible ? no I said I am Emily’s daughter not yours she said.

“honey, listen carefully people aren’t who you think they are she said.

“so who is Jamie? I ask.

“Jamie is your sister she reply.

“sister I was shock I have a sister. My head was pounding again. Memories was flashing… I felt to the ground…let me get you to the bed she said while guiding me.

“Ava, please help me said a small voice. Who is calling me? I was in the lab again there was a girl, it was Jamie. She was on a table. A man was pushing a needle into her lines. She was screaming with pain.

“No… I was shouting for him to let her go as he was pushing a needle into her arm with black liquid. What is he trying to do? I try pushing him but some other people grab me and pull me onto a table. My feet were tied. Suddenly someone came out from the crowd among the doctors.
