I remained silent, watching King Alex. He stood with his hands on his hips, facing the stream.
So much was happening. But above all, there was something I needed to say.
"King Alex," I called softly.
He turned immediately. "What is it?"
I hesitated to speak. I took a deep breath, then looked at him.
"There's something I want to tell you. About me."
