My heart pounded as I stared at Kaelia, her face hardened, burdened. I still couldn't accept that all of this was a great secret, a mystery delving into the darker parts of the past.
“Kaelia,” I began, my gaze fixed on her, “King Lucian told me something. He heard news years ago… that Princess Natasha gave birth to a child. Is this true?”
Kaelia’s sigh deepened slightly. I immediately saw the change in her expression. Her usually composed demeanor seemed enveloped by nervousness. She didn't answer immediately.
“If that’s true,” I continued, “where was the child taken? Where is she now? And what happened to Princess Natasha after all of that?”
