"I still have a little work to do later, so I'll do it later. I'm still talking to Thalia," Beta Ryker said to Alpha Aldric.
He gave Beta Ryker a stern look.
"Ryker!" Alpha Aldric called out to Beta Ryker firmly.
Beta Ryker stood up and faced their best friend.
"Why do you seem annoyed every time I'm with Thalia? You give me a lot of tasks to do. Don't tell me you're jealous of me and Thalia?" Beta Ryker's question caught me off guard. I couldn't help but secretly smile at the two of them.
"Do you want to be replaced as Beta?" Alpha Aldric asked Beta Ryker sarcastically.
"I'm leaving. I'll do the tasks you assigned to me," Beta Ryker quickly said to him. He turned to me.
