Questions to Ponder
1) Though the mustangs that inhabit the Western United States have been protected by an act of Congress, their management has caused their deaths, elimination of herds, threats to those who fight to protect them, and a hotbed of political and financial controversy. Should the wild horses and burros be allowed to live peacefully on the reserves set aside for them, or should they, and what they represent, be eliminated in the name of progress and the bottom line?
2) For some, due to accidents or disease, the question and definition of quality of life becomes important. Should heroic efforts be assumed in every case, or should immediate family members be allowed to make the choice of whether or not a life that is extremely limited be lived, or put an end to the physical
