What on earth are you doing, flirting with my what? Unexpectedly, the blonde jock didn't put up much of a fight when he smashed him into the wall, but it was clear that he was terrified from the looks on his face and the trembling in his legs.
What the heck are you talking about? Perhaps to attract the attention of onlookers, he shouted.
But they all knew they shouldn't get involved.
They all believed the jock was foolish.
Everyone recognized her as his.
Prologue Part One
The rest of the day didn't interest Brian. It had been awful, starting with his being late because he had forgotten his school bag, and then Miss Jane dared to throw him in detention! The apple crumble was gone because he ended up missing the first half of lunch. His favorite was that! To top it all off, some males peed in class while it was really hot, stinking up the entire room.
She advised him to go outside and get some fresh air when all he wanted to do was go home and eat some of Miss Victoria's handmade cookies. "Brian, you stay indoors too much." According to the maid. He agreed to go to the park after she offered him cookies to eat when he got home.
The streets were crowded with children due to the oppressive heat, so he expected the park would be as well. He, therefore, took his time on the typically brief walk. When he goes home, perhaps Miss Victoria will allow him to enjoy ice cream as well.
While leaving a six-year-old unsupervised would likely be risky for human kids, Brian was accustomed to being on his own. He had more power and speed than the typical six-year-old indent-human or wolf because he was the Alpha's son. Additionally, he had a more mature personality. He understood he was expected to do considerably more than a typical child, which had nothing to do with the fact that he was a werewolf.
Public and full of pack members who would readily lay down their life for their incoming Alpha, the park was also there. Being so distant from the city, not many people would live here, and those who do, have done so their entire lives. They were unaware of werewolves, but many of them believed in stories and legends. Brian was safe because it was unlikely that any bad people would be nearby. No, he couldn't. He thought he could get them.
"Brian, hello! Play soccer with us sometime!"
Daniel, one of his pals, called from the football field where a game was being played. He had just entered the park when suddenly everyone was looking at him. Even as a little child, he exuded a strong aura that made everyone aware of his presence.
He covered his lips with his hands. "a second! Just going to wait around for a while."
Before saying anything else, Brian turned around and started to walk away when he saw his friend nod in the distance.
Brian was hesitant to hang out with Daniel and his classmates, even though Daniel was a buddy—you could even say his best friend. Unexpectedly, he wasn't very gregarious and preferred to spend time alone or watching his father train over playing video games with the other boys. He just didn't care much for people.
He moved in its direction after spotting his Hardwood. Although it wasn't his Hardwood, he occasionally sat there and didn't see anyone else close by. Everyone was aware that the Alpha's son disliked sharing his possessions. even if the wood were hardwood.
Greetings and shoulder pats were exchanged as I passed the parkgoers. He just wanted to be left alone, so it was annoying. He was happy and proud to be the pack's future leader, but that didn't mean he wanted to start a conversation about the weather.
He sat down and observed the families as they went about their respective activities when he, at last, arrived at the Hardwood at the park's edge. He was at a loss for things to do. It was so popular that a line began to form and the swings were occupied.
Sometimes he wished he had a family who would take the time to push him on the swings while he shouted, "higher!" to the park. But because rogues had killed his mother when he was a newborn, his father had never been able to step into the role that required greater tenderness and care. Instead, they got to talking about battle strategies and how to encourage the pack to cooperate. To retain the pack as the best one in the nation, a Luna would typically be the one to bring the pack together as a unit, a family, and an alpha to protect the pack. Since he could understand words, he had acquired all of this knowledge. His father explained to him both methods rather than fairytales.
He was startled out of his thoughts by a whimper. The sound caused him to turn around, but he was unable to see anyone. It seemed nearby, but it could have just been his acute hearing. When he heard it again while actively searching for the sound, he initially believed he was daydreaming. "Hello?" He spoke without shouting since he didn't want to get noticed or come across as crazy.
More sniffling and moaning.
Whoever it was, was angry. He would probably just leave it for someone else to worry about some other day and walk away. But he just couldn't ignore this voice because it was so innocent and afraid-sounding.
"Hello?!" He repeated himself, this time speaking louder, as he walked around the Hardwood. As far as Brian could tell, there were no sobbing children in the park, so he could only presume that they weren't in the Recreation ground.
He peered up when he heard sniffling above him and saw several tiny legs dangling over the edge of a branch. He could see that it was a young female, perhaps a few years his junior. She must be in a bind. He began to ascend the steps, hoping not to startle her. The aroma of mangos filled his nose as he drew nearer. Everyone had a distinct aroma, and he surmised that this was the little girl's. He could honestly smell it all day; it was amazing.
With her delicate pink clothing and tiny light-up shoes on, she appeared incredibly small. Her tear-stained cheeks were pressed against the branch, on which her chest was resting. She had her eyes tightly closed. Her beautiful blonde hair was hanging on each side, and her arms were securely encircling the branch. Even though the branch appeared to be rather large in comparison to her small frame, he was afraid she might fall off because of how much it was trembling.
Next to the girl, Brian cautiously positioned himself on a branch and inhaled. He greeted her softly, not wanting the abrupt noise to startle her, but loud enough to be heard over the shrill cries of children playing. Although there were no outward indications of his presence, she could hear him approaching. She was quite scared.
She froze as he watched, and she momentarily ceased sniffling. Brian had to hold his breath as her eyes slowly opened to display a blue hue. He had never seen eyes with such grace. This is strange.
He leaned forward to make sure she could hear him so he could return his attention to his task "Are you okay? Why are you in this place?"
She didn't say anything; she just kept staring at him. Brian hopes she wasn't stunned or anything. She appeared to have experienced something horrific, yet many young children are frequently seen crying uncontrollably.
"Would you like to descend?" A light nod was given in response when he tried again. When he finally received a response, he was unable to control the grin that spread across his face.
He attempted to move into a better position, but a voice stopped him. The young girl muttered, "No," her voice trembling a little as if she was about to start crying once more. "Please stay with me."
When Brian noticed the pleasurable expression in her eyes, his heart tightened. She was very afraid and believed he would abandon her there.
"Naturally not, tiny one. Just give your hand to me." He gave her a comforting smile, but she started crying once more.
I'm going to fall, I can't." Her small arms tightened their grip on the branch while her sweet voice sounded so shattered. She might have some cuts and splinters, Brian feared. He undoubtedly injured a few while ascending, but they quickly recovered. He wasn't so sure it would be the same with this little girl because he knew she was a human.
They weren't particularly high, to be honest, but to someone her size, they were. It most likely appeared to be a skyscraper.
He was able to reassuringly stroke her arm as he got closer till he was at the branch just next to her, perhaps calming her. "It's ok. Right here, I am.
Give me your hands, please." He didn't think he could lower his voice any further.
She reluctantly freed her arms, sat up, and grabbed hold of Brian's waiting hands.
He wasn't used to Tignes filling his entire body. He had never felt anything like it before. He might have been ill.
"You're all set! Regarding you, So brave!"
As he complimented her, he gave her a big smile, which was met with a slightly bashful one.
From there, it was simple for him to take this young child into his arms. She was so small. He questioned how she was even able to get to the wood to climb them. Even he struggled at times!
He kept the girl close to him while deciding to ignore it for the time being, and she droolingly grabbed his shirt to draw herself even closer. Stupid girl. Whether out of fear or cold, her small body was trembling. Both the heat and the raucous people below them started to dissipate.
Little whimpers caused him to gently lower them to the ground while praising her in her ear and pushing her head into the crook of his neck. "You did fantastic, youngster. So pleased. Nearly there. How incredible you are."
"What's your age?" Suddenly, he inquired.
She tickled him with her breath as she mumbled the number 5 in his ear. Five!
His estimation would have been two or four. So little. So priceless. He asked after realizing he didn't know her name.
"Bella." It had a charming name. Since Brian had never heard it before, he considered it to be rather unique.
"Little one, my name is Brian." She didn't say anything; instead, she just sank further into his warmth.
Because Brian was a tall man for his age and she wasn't too heavy, he could easily hold her. He heard faint snores when they finally arrived at the ground and discovered that his Bella had been unconscious.
He took his little one home after kissing her tender blonde hair. Despite a terrible start to the day, he couldn't help but feel that today was the happiest day of his life. Brian was aware that the angel dozing in his arms had something to do with it. She was now trapped with him.
His, Bella.
Prologue Part Two
People were astonished when Bella, who was sleeping sweetly in Brian's arms, left a small drool stain on his shirt as he entered the room. Miss Victoria, on the other hand, did not appear to be in such a calm state and instantly told one of the pack members to get the Alpha.
"Brian, who is this?" As if Bella were made of the finest china, she claimed that he once placed her gently on the couch. Many had volunteered to assist in carrying the girl, but Brian ignored them and moved their arms out of the way. His goal was to get her settled on the cozy couch so she could sleep peacefully while he covered her with the softest blanket he could find.
"Bella."
Brian discovered that he enjoyed running his fingers through her hair while he sat next to her. It was simply really soft.
The poor thing appears to have been engaged in combat! A loud comment made by one of the parkgoers caused Brian to snarl. He didn't want anyone to wake her awake, and he also didn't like that his little Bella was being insulted.
People cried out, but Brian disregarded them.
Always so dramatic, they were. He gave Miss Victoria a fleeting glance and noticed her nodding to herself. She muttered to herself once again. Brian prayed that she wasn't crazy. She was the one who raised him the majority of the time, so losing her would be a shame.
She shook her head and ordered everyone to leave the room as soon as she noticed the perplexed expression on his face. Miss Victoria was consistently given attention. She wasn't the leader of the pack, but she was revered by all. She resembled Luna in many ways. She was in charge of cooking and cleaning, though.
" Brian. How did you locate her? She spoke softly to soothe him.
He felt as though something was missing among all of this confusion and the stares the pack members were exchanging. He disliked being left out. Particularly if it involved him and perhaps Bella.
On my woodland floor. She was helpless. I supported her. He never once looked away from Bella, as if she would vanish from his sight.
He could almost feel her confusion leaving her, but he was at a loss for words since he didn't know the answer. It was also unusual for Brian to be so affectionate toward anything, and when this little girl revealed a side of herself that no one had ever seen before, she was certain to be perplexed.
"Ok, I see. Let's clean her up now. Probably best to get up and take a bath. She moved towards Bella, but Brian turned and stopped her. "You still have some dried blood on you," she said.
I won't leave Bella, He said with a hint of a glare but restrained it because he knew she had considerably greater control over the bot and could simply forbid him from deserts.
Sighing, Miss Victoria. Brian. Although it must be difficult for you to feel so protective right now, you must allow me to look after this young girl.
After giving it some thought, he concluded that Miss Victoria wouldn't harm Bella in any way.
He would have her head if she did.
He then exited the wat, but during their conversation, they failed to muffle their voices, reawakening Bella. Her tiny hand was clenching Brian's top in a grip, and her eyes were wide as she took everything in around her.
Bri Bri! He winced as she yelled in his ear. He decided she wouldn't give up and thus disregarded the unusual moniker.
"Bella. Miss Victoria, please. He pointed to the elderly woman as he admired and wondered at them.
Hello, my love. She spoke kindly to the young child.
Bella waved and then swiftly pressed her face into Brian's armpit, her face turning slightly red and her chubby cheeks sporting a charming blush.
Oh, are you reserved? How about some delicious cookies to help us get to know one another?
The mention of cookies caught Brian and Bella's interest. "Please, yes!" Brian enthusiastically concurred.
I'm sorry, but Bella here needs to make a decision.
She immediately nodded her head as they both turned to gaze at her. Okay, but do you agree that I must clean your cuts, please?
Brian went to reassure Bella as soon as he noticed the terrified expression in her eyes.
"Also, I'll do it! I'll be there by your side. After Bella's hesitating response, he continued, "Miss Victoria got up to retrieve the first aid kit and some of her cookies," gazing deeply into her. Brian's father abruptly burst into the room. What is so crucial? He searched the area for Miss Victoria but instead saw Brian and Bella, which caused him confusion.
To everyone else, he was a vicious and terrifying Alpha, but to Brian, he was just his father. Due to his father's busy schedule, they may not be as close as in other father-son relationships, but it doesn't imply their love for one another isn't genuine. When he inquired, "Who is this, son?" he made this very obvious in his soft voice. Brian didn't want to startle the tiny person since he knew she was important to him.
"Hello, I'm Bella. Meet my father, Bella. He towered over Bella's small figure, and she stared at him with horror in her eyes.
He had sunk to Bella's eye level, just like Miss Victoria had done. *How are you? She timidly shook his enormous, rough hand as it around her small one as he extended it to her.
"Good day, sir." Brian wasn't sure why she addressed him as sir. It must have seemed reasonable given the abundance of poverty emanating from his father as if you had to respect him or otherwise.
Bella, you can address me as Joseph.
Surprisingly, not even humans had the grace to acknowledge him by his name; they always referred to him as Sir or Mr. Brian wasn't too shocked that his father had already developed feelings for the young child; her innocence was so pure and her features were so angelic that it would feel wrong to treat her like anything less than an angel.
He appeared to be looking for something as he continued to look into her eyes and then Brian's eyes. Bella tucked herself back into Brian to avoid his curious looks. She was quite reticent with strangers. Even though they had just recently met, he was grateful that Bella felt at ease in his presence.
The tone of Alpha's whisper was one of joy and pride, "This is your mate."
"What does mate mean? The same thing was uttered by Miss Victoria. Being unable to identify it was driving Brian crazy. He calmed himself down sufficiently by concentrating on Bella's smell.
They were about to discuss mates when Miss Victoria entered the room again, her hands crammed with cookies and a first aid kit.
"Alpha." Before the location of the cookies, she made a greeting.
on Bella's lap and grinned at her. Bella took it hesitantly after he licked a warm biscuit. Before beginning to eat, she muttered a thank you while Brian did the same with one of his own.
Delicious. As always, Miss Victoria's cookies never failed to make people smile, as evidenced by Bella's beaming expression.
She was preoccupied with the plate of cookies when Miss Victoria began to clean her cuts, and she didn't mind at all. She only flinched slightly when she applied antiseptic, but that went away as soon as she bit into another cookie.
When Bella made a fuss and nearly finished the entire plate by herself, Brian looked proudly at her. For once, Brian realized he didn't mind sharing his cookies. as long as Bella was present.
Why didn't you bring them to the pack physician? The Alpha questioned as he observed his son and Bella devour the cookies and leave a large number of crumbs on his couch for later cleanup.
Victoria muttered. "You constantly fret excessively. even though you don't let on.
There are simply minor scratches. Bella, isn't that correct?
Bella smiled while nodding. The sound completely enchanted Brian.
Do you know that they are dating?
In response, Miss Victoria nodded. "I was certain at once. A man who is blind might see it. But they're so young. I'm unsure of whether or not this is a good thing.
The alpha bit into a cookie, drawing Brian's stare and Bella's brief pout. He sighed and rolled his eyes as he replaced the cookie. Well, I don't see anything better than the fact that my son has a girlfriend. Yet you're correct. It might not be a good thing. She might be the target of rogues or rivaling racks. They are well aware that my son is my vulnerability and his partner is his. He began to feel anxious about the situation and massaged his face with his hand.
Who is a mate? Bella posed the query Brian has been wondering about ever since he heard the phrase, and her soft voice sounded loud in the empty living room.
His father didn't appear eager to respond to the query. Oh my god, this sounds like a s*x conversation. He spoke inaudibly enough for the children to miss. He received a pat on the back from Miss Victoria before she went to allow them some peace. "Normally we don't tell you until you turn into your wolf at thirteen," he said with a sigh. However, since this is a unique situation. I'll explain. He stopped as he considered the appropriate phrase to use. What exactly is a mate? Bella, I suppose you are. And Brian, you are as well. You are one another's mates.
Bella rapidly lost interest and began tinkering with Brian's as well, using her finger to trace the designs on it.
They were all relieved that she didn't appear to be bothered by the numerous werewolf words. They had no immediate plans to explain why they weren't human.
In contrast, Brian paid close attention to his father's explanations. It felt significant, and if it affected his young Bella and himself, he had to pay attention. Why does that signify that? When it appeared that his father wouldn't say anything further, he questioned.
It is your soul mate. You will spend all of your time with this person.
Your future will be in them. You'll be devoted to one another. You will have an unbreakable tie together. I shared one with your mother. Anyone can have one. This moon goddess's gift is incredibly potent. In Love With A Werewolf
Chapter One
Bella awoke with a urinal urge and her arms weighed her down. She turned to face the perpetrator after struggling to get away.
Bella repeatedly poked Brian on the arm and cheek, but he didn't wake up because he was always a deep sleeper. She writhed and made an effort to remove his arm from his stomach. They were quite close to one another because they were lying on a tiny single bed. As a result of its discomfort, Bella always preferred Brians's bed. He was on his front, while Bella was on her back, trying to hold back her urination while gazing up at the ceiling.
He sighed. At last, a response! Then, though, drew her in so that he was almost on top of her and his head was caressing her neck. 'bri bri' I have to urinate, she cried out while shaking his body.
Brian reluctantly let go of Bella, who jumped out of bed and dashed into the restroom. Bella had to cope with this virtually every morning because he enjoys cuddling. Being that intimate was nothing unusual for them because they were best friends. Bella and Brian were accustomed to each other. Since Brian saved Bella from going off a Woodland, they are essentially attached at the hip.
Although she remembers the day, it is not quite clear. Their friendship officially began 12 years ago.
*Flashback*
Bella's mother and father had presumably driven them to Disney World on a long automobile trip. They were at a park the next thing she realized. with Mickey Mouse absent.
You take action. Her mother informed her father that she didn't sound as lovely as normal; instead, she sounded insistent.
Her father was anxious, ruffling his brown hair, and it didn't look like he'd shaved in days. He often took good care of himself. "What do you want me to accomplish? She can't just be left here, can we? She'll be seen by people." Bella clung tenaciously to his hand as he emphasized, staring at the verbal exchange without understanding what was happening.
Her mother appeared to be at a loss for words as she gazed around the room, but then she looked up and her eyes widened. "Quick! Lie her down on the woodland!" She indicated the location of the woodland.
Bella made up her mind to return home. Her normally cool and collected parents were slightly frightening her. She pulled on her father's arm, causing him to turn to look at her with a panicked expression. Going home? Bella softly questioned.
Princess, "N-no." Like he always did, he lifted her and placed her on his hip. "A game will be played by us! Mama, isn't that true?"
She noticed her mother nod swiftly, her blonde curls flying in all directions, seeming enthusiastic about this game. "We are, indeed. You will ascend the woodland-"
"With my assistance." When he noticed a worried expression on his beloved daughter's face, her father interrupted.
"Then we'll go away so we can find you later. A good time? Yes! Let's go for it."
Even though her parents preferred playing dull games, she went along with them even though she thought this did not sound like fun and just wanted to go home.
Flashback over.
And that's how Bella ended up alone at a park in a wooded area. She initially believed her parents were still on the way to pick her up, but she soon gave up since, let's face it, she preferred her life with Brian. She soon concluded that her parents didn't care about her after that. They left a five-year-old child unattended at the park. Parents who adore their kids wouldn't act in such a way. But she doesn't harbor resentment. Her best friend, without whom she couldn't fathom living, would not have existed if her parents had never moved out.
Since Brian had first discovered her, not much had changed. She was still reserved and only really truly at ease around Brian, but she was improving around strangers. As many individuals towered above her, Bella had certainly grown, although not as much as other eighteen-year-olds. Her features, which included wide Bambi eyes and little pouty lips, were still the picture of innocence. Her hair had, however, slightly darkened at the roots, and with puberty, her physique had changed into a lovely, feminine shape. She and Brian ran together a lot. Both shared a passion for the outdoors, which helped her stay in shape despite her love of deserts.
Around eight o'clock, she decided to take a shower. She struck luckily. While most of the rooms lacked ensuite bathrooms, hers did. Given that she had to be placed in the children's home, Brian had made sure she received the greatest room possible. Naturally, he wanted her to stay with him, but his father advised against it and preferred that she remain at the children's residence.
But she didn't mind. Since Brian is always around her, sleepovers weren't unusual. But since it was against the regulations, he would have to enter secretly, and Miss Elizabeth chooses to ignore this. When Bella would occasionally spend the night at Brian's estate, they were his happiest times.
She was startled out of her thoughts when the door opened. Morning, little one. Brian welcomed everyone in his husky morning voice before brushing his teeth.
Fortunately, the shower curtain was within reach, but even if it hadn't been, Brian would have seen everything. As a toddler, he gave her many showers, and as she got older, if she was too sleepy to get dressed, she would insist that Brian change her before she went to bed.
Welcome to the day, Bri Bri! She made chirps. Since it was a Saturday, she could spend the entire day with Brian. She then became aware of what will occur next tomorrow. "I'll miss you," I said. As she switched off the shower and fumbled for her towel, she said.
With the toothbrush in his mouth, Brian handed it to her. He spits out the foam and uttered, "I'll text you in between and during lessons since it won't be long. Also, I'll call you during lunch. similar to the way I usually do."
Bella was not looking forward to Brian returning to college the next tomorrow since this was the last day of spring vacation. "I am aware of this, but I have become accustomed to being around you constantly. I won't be able to visit you again for several hours." She gave an unhappy explanation.
Brian gave her a tight hug as soon as she exited the bathroom and wrapped herself in the fluffy white towel. Don't be the melancholy little one, now. He gave the top of her hair a soft kiss. "Go get ready, and then I'll take you out for some pancakes," he added as he started to walk away.
When Bella heard the smell of pancakes coming from her favorite cafe, her mood immediately improved.
