In the world of velmoria , vampire and witches lived in war . Their territories where equally split and if one wondered beyond the others line , their faith was sealed. You see once both vampires and witches lived in harmony even being friends and couples but things changed when the new king of vamps Deriza stepped on thrown . His father has just descended to the under world to rest and he was the only male son . He had no empathy for humans, when his father was king he limited their feeding to animals and human who they were sure were already going to die . The extremely sick or old . But Deriza didn't care he freed the vampires to feed on all feedable and so the war began because they started attacking witches. At that time some witch lived among humans using their powers to do them good , while others stayed back in velmoria to keep things running smoothly. The first kill was the step daughter of the Lord of witches advisor. It was brutal and this angered the witches to the point where they started attacking each other. Both sides were loosing men and warriors on a daily until the Lord of witches decided to make a deal . He said the world of velmoria would be split in equal halves . Vampires are never to attack a witch. And the saddest part of all , all interbreed between vampires and witches were burned alive. Parents wept watching their children scream in pain. The dark mark left was the border between both sides , the ashes were mixed with human blood and the dark line was formed never to be crossed by any of the sides . All this happened about three thousand years ago far from the present . Now to the witches who are alive vampires are just a scary story used by their parents to keep them from the dark line . But the vampires know, they all know because they are immortal, only descending to the underworld after a million years alive. The vampire remained in the shadow taking humans and animal when the least expect it .
