Joelle's p.o.v

The table lay in shambles. My mother sits there weeping. My twin looks like he might lose control of his wolf. My father and Alpha Samuel look ready to rip apart my former pack. "I'm okay, I tell them." I must comfort my family before they go to war. I stand and walk over to my twin and my father placing my hands in theirs trying to help them control their anger. "Father, there is no need to be upset, I simply say." "No reason, no reason? My daughter stands before me covered in scars from silver and you say I have no reason to be angry. Child, just wait until you have your own. Then you will understand my anger." "Dad, all that matters is that we are together now." "How about we all go to the living room and have coffee. We can all catch up that way, Zander says." "I agree we should all head that way, I say." A few omegas get us coffee and cakes for dessert. Justin hasn't stopped looking at me since we were introduced. I study my twin as we all set down. He has the same hair but he has these amazing ocean blue eyes. "Zander, here in a bit can we shift and go for a run, I ask?" "Of course love, you can show your family your wolf, Willow." "Your wolf's name is Willow, Justin asks?" "Yes, what's yours?" "His name is Walter, Justin tells me." "I would really enjoy going for a run and meeting Willow, says my mother." "I think it will help our wolves settle down a bit, says my father." "How about we go ahead and go for that run, Zander offers." "What about Isabella and Asher my mother asks?" "I'll mind-link him and have him and his mate Lucy who might I add is chomping at the bit wanting to meet you along with Taylor's mate Lacey, they can watch them if that's okay with you Luna, Zander says." "Of course, yes it's fine." A few moments later here come Derrick, Taylor, and two women I haven't met yet. A spunky pink-haired girl with beautiful hazel eyes rushes me and hugs me tight. "I can't believe it, you're so pretty. Oh, forgive me Luna we have just been so excited to meet you. I am Lucy and this is Lacey." "We are going to be great friends Lacey says." She was more muted with her black hair and green eyes. "Would you all mind watching Isabella and Asher while we go for a run, asks Zander?" "Of course not Zander Taylor says." I follow my twin, my parents, Sam, Mia, and Zander out the backdoor until we reach the timberline. "I want to show you all something before we go, I say." I close my eyes and concentrate feeling the flames ignite in my hands and I open my eyes to see my father smile and say, "Justin, show her what you can do." My twin steps up close his eyes and then the wind starts to pick up. It starts to thunder and lightning. "You can control the elements, I ask?" "Yes, I can he smiles." Oh so he's going to show off I see. So I close my eyes once more and imagine watching the flames dance across my skin until I am completely covered in them. "Woah now that's cool, Justin says." I open my eyes and show them the change. "That's incredible sweetheart Luna Mia says." "Oh just wait, she isn't done, Zander says." "I can show you once we shift back, I say." My father and Justin are the first to shift. They are both black in color with blue eyes. Now, my mother shifted into a beautiful tan-colored wolf with green eyes. Next to go was Alpha Samuel who turns into a black wolf with white paws. Then Luna Mia shifts into a brown wolf with brown eyes. Zander looks at me and nods his head telling me that it was time. I let Willow have control and slowly step back into our minds. My parents circle me rubbing their scent on me and loving on me. Justin is next he walks up to me and I believe that he's smiling. Lastly, Zander shifted into his magnificent huge black wolf. Willow trots over to where he is and rubs her scent all along Ben's face. He is loving the attention of his mate. I then look at him and it's almost like he knows what we want to do. Willow takes off running towards the creek we saw the last time. I was on the losing end I look back only to see my mate pounce on me wanting to play. We allow our wolves to run and play until they are tired. Once they are finished Zander nods at me we all shift back covered in clothing. "Wow, that's pretty awesome, Justin says." Zander steps up to my side and looks at my father. "There is something that we need to discuss with everyone. Including my Beta and Gamma. We will tell the pack after the Luna ceremony we still need to have." "Oh, right I forgot we still needed to do that." "We should talk in my office." I already know what he's wanting. He wants to tell my family what the Moon Goddess said. We reach the packhouse and Derrick is waiting for us. Alphas and Lunas he says as he bows his head in respect. "Alpha Zander while you were out we got a call from Luna's old pack. Well more like Lucas called wanting to speak with you regarding the matter of our alliance with him." "We no longer have one," Zander says with a growl as he grabs hold of me and buries his nose in my hair. "That's why I think he wants to talk to you," Derrick says. Zander looks up and says, "we will never have one again after the way he treated my mate." "I understand Alpha." We all make our way into Zander's office. When we walked in I saw the most amazing collection of books in the bookcases that lined three walls, his desk was facing the door. It smelled of him and I enjoyed it. There were also a few couches and a coffee table. "So Joelle and I need to discuss something with you." "We do as well," says Alpha Victor. "We will let the Luna go first if you don't mind, Zander asks?" I step forward and face them all with Zander at my side. "Well, a few days ago I had a dream that the Moon Goddess Selene came to me and told me that I am the key to a war that is coming." My mother gasps, "she came to you as well?" I turned to my mother, "what do you me she came to me as well?" "She's meaning me," Justin says.
