Chapter 1

Sergio's leg bounced up and down as he kicked the bass of his drums while Troy's hand grazed the strings from the neck of his guitar. He plucked the strings of the instrument, combining the tune from the beat of his brother is making. You watch the twins behind the glass wall, the melody of their instruments filling your ears from the headphones you're wearing. The end of your pencil tapped the center of the notebook you're writing on, containing scribbled words of lyrics you're composing for your EP -that Simon told you to do immediately after signing some contract papers. "So it says here that half of the money we earned from our songs goes to our albums and the other half will be ours." You read out from the paper as you twirl the pen your using with your fingers. Simon nods his head as an answer. "Even if it's only the half of it, its still really is a lot of money for us." Troy stated, looking up from the paper to me and his brother. Sergio nods. "Yeah, we're not usually that in need of a lot of money, luxury isn't our thing." "How about we only take 25 percent of our earnings." You suggested, looking at the twins. They nodded. Simon looked at the three of you with a surprised expression. "What about the other half?" "Well..back in the Philippines our town hasn't been yet fairly recognized." Sergio begins to explain. "So we're kind of been neglected by the government, some of the areas there are in need to be fixed and the people lacked of essentials." Simon nodded his head in understatement. "I'm sorry to hear that." "No, it's alright. It's just that..since we're lucky enough to get this opportunity, why don't the three of us," Sergio signaled his hand on the three of you. "Slowly build our town on our own since the government aren't making their move." Simon snatched the contract from your hand and begins to write on the paper, his pen swirled on the body, crossing out some of the words and adding new ones on the contract. The tip of the pen jots a tiny period at the end before it falls down and rolled over to the side. "25 percent of your earning goes to your hometown and the remaining depends on what you guys want to do with it." Simon passed the updated contract back to your hands, a proud smile on his lips. "Yo, Y/N! We're done recording." Troy's loud voice boomed in your head, causing you drop the pencil you're holding to move the headphones away from your ear. "Damn it, Troy." You hissed. "You almost blew up my eardrums." You say, pressing the unlock button from the numerous control button in front of you to let the siblings out of the recording booth. "It's not my fault that your volume's on high." He stuck a tongue out at you, plopping on another seat next to you while Sergio leaned his rear on the side of the table from the opposite side of Troy, next to you. Sergio pulled the cord of your headphone. "Let's see here..." He mumbled as he pressed on some specific buttons, combining the sound of the guitar is making and the beat of the drums then pressed a red circular button to play the output of the instrument they played. The instrumental music blared out from the speakers that is attached from the top corners of the room. Your heads slowly bobbed up and down from the smooth melody filling your ears. You stare at your composition, timing out the lyrics from the tune so it doesn't sound like you just carelessly put the lyrics out. "I guess that's done?" Sergio said, staring at the notebook. Troy pressed a button making the music stop then twist a hand turner counter clockwise to rewind it and pressed play to start the music again. He looked over your shoulder and hummed the lyrics of your composition. Your lips slightly parted, whispering out some of the verse from your work. "I think it is." Troy pulled the headphones off of your neck and pushed you hastily inside the booth then shut the door close. "Can't you be a little more careful, Troy." You glared at him, walking over to a seat in front of a microphone then sat on it. "I've never seen you this serious before, I'm actually surprised." You stated, adjusting yourself comfortably on your seat. "Shut up, Y/N." Troy's voice came through the speakers as he spoke over a mic from the outside while his brother pressed some buttons on the keyboard. "Okay, we're going to start recording now. So when we start the music you'll wait for a couple of seconds and then when you hear the guitar being strummed that's when you start to sing." You nod your head in comprehension, raising your hand for a thumbs up. You put the headphones hanging from the back of the microphone and waited. "Starting on in 3, 2, 1." Sergio counted down from the mic. The sound of the instruments vibrated out from the headphones you're wearing and you sung out adding some ohh's and yeah's to the instrumental so the first few seconds won't be that plain to hear. I nearly lost my mind, Tryna figure out a way To make you understand, I can't go on another day Or maybe I was wrong, been confused and led astray Please give me one more chance, 'cause I can't take what's happening Have you ever lost someone? Tryna take it back but the damage is done Thought of losing you makes me feel so sad How I'm gonna sleep when I feel this bad? I know enough's enough It's gonna be tough to get through this... I'll never be perfect, I'll never be cool. I'll always be nothing, Unless I'm with you. Cause you make me perfect, Tell me what can I do? The pieces are missing, when I'm not with you You make me whole Who-o-ole (You make me) Who-o-ole Who-o-ole (You make me) You sung the chorus smoothly. Mentally noting some parts for a background voices you'll be adding. I know that I deserve it But have you really lost all faith? You know inside that we're worth it There's so much more for us to say Or maybe I was lost Or maybe I was just afraid Would you please forgive me And hold me back in your arms again. You sung out the last words with a raised voice, adjusting it into a tiny pitch, dragging it for a couple of seconds before singing the chorus again with your normal voice. Have you ever lost someone Tryna take it back but the damage is done Thought of losing you makes me feel so sad How am I gonna sleep when I feel this bad I know enough's enough It's gonna get though to get through this I'll never be perfect(perfect) I'll never be cool I'll always be nothing (nothing) Unless I'm with you (with u) Cause you make me perfect Tell me what can I do But the pieces are missing(missing) When I'm not with you (with you) You make me whole (so whole baby) Who-o-ole You make me who-o-ole (Oh baby) Who-o-ole You make me Don't say nothings perfect cause it isn't true Everything I see so clear with you Everything I dream of is with you Everything I need is here with you Everything can be so Everything can be so.... Perfect Perfect~ You squeeze your voice into a tiny pitch again. Oh I'll never be perfect I'll never be cool (cool) I'll always be nothing (nothing) Unless I'm with you (with you oh) Cause you make me perfect Tell me what can I do (do-o) The pieces are missing (missing) When I'm not with you You make me who-ole Who-o-ole baby (You make me perfect) You make me who-ole You make me whole baby Oooooo You make me Who-o-ole(so perfect) So perfect Oh baby baby (so perfect x2) The sun sets beyond the horizon, its orange light beaming down from the huge window panes behind the couches you all lied tiredly in. Troy's body lied across the long sofa, his head set upon the arm rest while his feet's rest on the opposite edge. Sergio does the same on the couch from the opposite side, but with a guitar laying on his chest as his fingers softly strummed the strings, making a little noise in the quiet room you're all in. You sat on one of the single chairs between the two long couches, above the twins heads, resting your foot on the glass coffee table in the middle of the seats you all occupied. A note book on your lap -that is now considered as your song book. You flipped over the pages, skimming the compositions that you wrote, with the help of the twins, for the past 7 hours as the three of you locked yourselves inside the studio to make some music you all needed for the album. "How many have we made?" Troy asked with his eyes closed, trying to rest his mind after the brainstorming you three had awhile ago. "We now have.... five songs." You replied, throwing the pencil you're holding at the center of the notebook before shutting it close and tossing it on the middle of the coffee table. "And five more to go..." Sergio mumbled, setting the guitar on the ground next to him with a thud. He closed his eyes, shifting his body while he crossed his arms on his chest. "My head hurts." He complained. "Same." You and Troy both choired. Two soft knocks from the door caught your attention before it open widely revealing Simon as he marched inside the room stopping in front of you three. You see a slim woman trailing behind Simon, wearing somewhat business like attire holding a black binder on her chest. Simon clapped his hands, smiling brightly. "Tired are we?" He said, watching you three with an amused expression. "Drained." Sergio replied, pushing his torso up to a sitting position. Troy copied his brother as well, covering his lips as a loud yawn erupted from his mouth. You pull out your feet from the table and lay it flat on the floor. "Who's she?" You asked Simon, being the first one to notice her. Simon briefly looked at the woman. "This is Christina." Simon introduced. Christina waved her hands with a greeting smile on her face. "She'll be the one who will manage your band; interviews, promotions, basically all of your schedules." Simon explained. The three of you stood up and approach Christina, shaking her hands and welcoming her. Christina's a pretty attractive woman, bright blue eyes, chestnut colored hair, slender figure and light skinned. She looked young for managing a band. "Okay so before we start, I would like to check if your EP's are finished?" Christina spoke in a professional like tone, looking at the three of you for the answer. You nod your head. "Already finished it." "Good, we'll be releasing it tomorrow morning then we'll be moving on to discuss the songs for your first album." Christina addressed, opening her binder and noting it down. "Oh we also forgot, what would be your bands name." Just like being hit by a brick from realization, the three of you groaned, forgetting a very important detail for starting a music career. "Why haven't we thought of that." Troy mumbled, scratching the back of his neck. Simon let out a deep chuckle. "We'll be giving you all time for that." He said. "Now how many songs have you made so far?" "Just five." Troy answered. Christina's jaw dropped. "Five already?" "Yeah, we haven't started on the sixth one yet." Sergio replied nonchalantly. Christina turns to Simon. "Most of our new bands can't write songs past two in day." "That's what I told you before, Christina." Simon looked at the three of you with a proud smile. "These three are very talented." It was almost midnight. After Simon and Christina left, the three of you spent a couple more hours writing songs and making music for your album. You gazed outside the window, staring at the sleepy streets and watching few cars driving by. You turn over to your heels and walked to the couch. You plopped your rear down and raised your head towards the twins and watch them record some of their parts for the song. Your stomach grumbled, remembering that you still haven't eaten since you arrived from the airport. The recording booth's door opened. The twins sluggishly exited the booth, tiredly walking towards the other empty couch and jumped on it, leaning their back against it while their head went over the top edge of it. Troy groaned. "We haven't eaten yet since we arrived here." Sergio nodded. "We've been preoccupied with making songs for our album that we forgot the time to eat." Troy's back slid sideways against the couch, the side of his face landing on the arm rest, squeezing it, making his lips pout cutely. "Let's order pizza or something." "It's almost midnight, stores are closed by now, stupid." Sergio rolled his eyes. "Who you callin-" Just on cue there was a knock on the door cutting off Troy. You let out a relief sigh, quietly thankful to whoever knocked at the door just in time before the twins start an argument. You look up to the clock on the wall. "Who could it be at this time of hour." You stood up from your seat, sauntering towards the door to open it. "What if it's a burglar." Troy whisper-yelled. "Don't open it Y/N." "Too late." You stated opening the door to see a man wearing a black jacket with a red stripes on the shoulder, on his hands rest a wide, flat square box. His crimson cap jots down as he nods his head at you. "Pizza delivery." He said, stretching out the box towards you. You stare at him, taking a step forward. You looked over to the outside, your head popping out past the door frame, and looked left and right, scanning the hallways for someone. You step back again, eyeing the delivery guy. "I think you got the wrong place." You stated plainly closing the door. The man blocked his foot and pushed the door open again. "You're Y/N Y/L/N right?" He asked. You nod your head. "Then this is for you." He shoved the pizza in your hands, laying the receipt above it. "It's already been paid, Enjoy." He waved his hand and walked away. You stare at the man's retreating figure, bewildered, before closing the door with your foot and walked deep inside the studio. The twins looked up from what they're doing and to your hands, their brows scrunched, then looking up to your eyes with a confused expression. "What's that?" Troy asked dumbly. "A pizza, duh." You rolled your eyes at him, setting the box down on the coffee table and returned back to your seat, on the couch in front of the opposite couch where the twin's sitting on. "And why do you have that?" You shrugged. " I don't know, it was ordered for me." "Did you call for a pizza when we're recording?" Sergio inquired. You shook your head. "Do you have any friends that knows you'll be here?." "No, I told you, you two and Simon are the only people who knows that I'll be here." "Don't forget, the mysterious person who arrange a driver for you." Troy chimed in, opening the box revealing a freshly baked pizza. "And they ordered your favorite type of pizza too. I guess this person really doesn't want you to starve, Y/N." Sergio shook his head. "Nah, maybe it came from Simon. He do knows that we're working here in the studio." His young brother hummed. "Could be, or maybe it was Christina." Troy stated, slightly agreeing on Sergio before coming up with a theory on his own. Your noses caught a whiff of the delicious smell of the food in front of you, making your stomachs grumble. Knowing you're all hungry. "Let's just eat before the pizza gets cold." You say, before the three of you started to dig in. "We'll be releasing your EP in a couple of hours." Christina stated, checking on her wrist watch. "So, since you're all done with the songs for your album, why don't we discuss all about it." Next morning, you all woke up with Christina knocking on the studio's door. After you all finished eating, you all decided to call it a day and sleep in the studio since you all got too sleepy to drive back to the hotel you're all arranged to stay in. A cup of hot coffee in hand, Troy yawned loudly, covering his mouth with his free hand. "What do you want to talk about." He mumbled sleepily, closing his hands around the cup, warming it since you're all not used at the cold, morning climate of England. "We need to check up on your songs if it's good enough to be in the album." Christina explained, sitting at the single chair in-between the long couches that the three of you occupied. "So, the songs?" Sergio grabbed the songbook and hand it out to Christina while Troy placed the laptop on the coffee table and opening it up, clicking the folder containing seven songs you all finished recording. "We still haven't finished the rest of it." You stated in monotone voice. "Give us a couple more hours to finish it." Christina shook her head. "I would but I can't." She stated, staring at you as if scrutinizing your features. You averted your gaze from her stare and leaned back against the sofa. "Why?" Troy asked, his attention still on the laptop while his fingers slide on the pad. "We all need to fly over to L.A for a meeting." She explained, putting the headphone on her ears that Sergio plugged on the laptop. "Simon's already flew over there last night to take care of some things." "Wait." Troy paused from what he's doing, looking up from the laptop towards Christina. "So it wasn't Simon who bought a pizza for us?" Christina looked at him weirdly. "Uhh.. no?" "And it wasn't you?" Sergio asked. Christina shook her head. The twins looked at you with a smirk. "I guess you got yourself a secret admirer, Y/N." Troy said. "In the very first day here in UK too." You gazed outside the small window next to your seat in the plane you're riding, taking a last glance of UK before flying over to Los Angeles for a meeting that Christina told you about. Apparently she sat next to you, on your left, while the twins occupied the seats at the front. You looked over to her, ear plugs on, engrossed at the laptop listening to the songs you and the twins made. Christina turns her head towards you, amazed. "These songs are incredible, all of them, I'm very sure the people will love this." She smiled brightly, cute dimples appearing on her cheeks. You felt heat creeping on your cheeks, you turn towards the window, curtly nodding your head as an answer. You can feel her eyes on you, but luckily the twins intrudes before it becomes more awkward for the both of you. "So, Christina." Troy's head popped up from the headboard of his seat along with his old- by two minutes- brother. "Since it'll be couple of hours before we arrive in L.A, why don't we get to know you better." Troy suggested. "Are you sure you're not just doing this to make a move on me?" Troy raised his hands in surrender. "Easy there, I'm half Filipino. I'm not a flirty type of guy who just hit on girls or have one night stands." He placed a hand on his chest. "I'm innocent and very loyal." "By innocent, you mean still a virgin?" Sergio smirked at his brother. "Don't talk like you aren't one either." You smirked at him. Sergio scoffed at you. "Look who's talking." Christina giggled, interrupting the three of you. "Are you guys always like this?" Troy shrugged. "It's kinda normal." He waved his hand up and down. "Moving on. Tell us something about yourself, Christina." Christina pulled the ear phones off and closed the laptop, giving you all her attention . "What do you guys want to know?" "How old are you?" Troy directly replied. "Ouch!" He glared at Sergio, rubbing his ear after his brother flicked it. "It's rude to ask a woman their age, Stupid." "No it's alright, you guys will find it out soon eventually." Christina offered an assuring smile. "I just turned 25 two months ago." "Really? You looked younger." "Real smooth, Troy. Are you sure you're not just trying to flirt with her." "s**t up, Gio. I just want to know her more since we're all be working together." Troy clarified. "So tell me about you guys, I still haven't got your full names." "I'm Troy Aguilar, and this," Troy wrapped his arm around his brothers shoulder. "Is my not so good of a looking brother, Sergio. We just turned 20, weeks ago." He introduced. "And right there beside you sitting awfully silent is Y/N Y/L/N. She's just really quiet but don't worry, give her time to adjust, she'll talk to you." Christina turns her head towards you, staring as you distractedly gaze out of the window resting the side of your face on your palm. "Finally, you guys are here." Simon greeted, signaling his hand towards the seats in front of him, letting all of you sit. You sat yourself down in the middle of the siblings. Simon sat in front of you, clasping his hands above the dark brown colored desk. "Okay so, one of the bands here are going to be starting their own tour for six months." Simon started. You arched a brow at him. "And?" "Since you'll be needing more publicity, we decided that your band will be one of the opening for their concerts." Simon explained. Troy leaned forward from his seat. "Are there any other band's coming?." Simon nodded. "Little Mix, and there's going to be some solo artist coming along like; Austin Mahone, Hailee Steinfeld." Troy's eyes brightened like a little kid having his first gift in Christmas eve. His lips stretched out to a bright smile. "Little Mix!" He yelled excitedly. You and Sergio glanced at each other, annoyed at Troy's reaction. Sergio nods his head lightly, tight smile on his lips. "What band are we opening for?" "Fifth Harmony." As if on cue you hear the door opened, but you didn't care, you don't like new people pouncing in your life. You zoomed in to your own thoughts. Okay so a concert, means new people to know, a dozen people to meet and a thousand people to see, now you're beginning to regret this decision. You can't turn back now, Simon has a high expectations on you and the twins are counting on you. You heave out a small sigh, rubbing your temples as you begin to over think again, it's again becoming a habit of yours. "This here is our childhood friend." Sergio says pointing towards you. Approaching you with some unfamiliar company. You didn't even noticed that the twins got out of their chairs. You stood up from your seat, meeting five beautiful looking women as they give you a welcoming smile. "Hi, I'm Allyson Brooke Hernandez but you can call me Ally." The shortest one stepped forward, pulling you into a hug, catching you off guard. "Pardon me, I'm a hugger." She explained. Ally stepped away and another one pulled you in for an embrace, a tall one to be specific. "Hey, dawg. I'm Dinah Jane you can call me DJ but Queen might work better." You saw the chocolate skinned girl roll her eyes, pulling Dinah from your arms and took your hand for a gentle shake. "I'm Normani Kordei, it's a pleasure to meet you." Such manners, you thought. You jerked forward, feeling something wrapped around your hips and around your torso. You hear a giggle near your ears. "Camila!, get off her this instance." Ally scolded the girl clasped behind you. Camila pulled away moving in front of you and smiled brightly. "Camila Cabello, you can call me everything you want." "I'll call you my baby if you want." Troy joked, whispering it to his brother next to you, good thing the girls haven't heard it. Sergio elbowed him, making Troy grunt in pain. You gave the four a force smile, your eyes landing on a certain raven hair behind them. The four followed your line of sight, and looked behind them and back to you to catch you staring at their friend. It was odd of you to be staring at someone you never knew, you find it pathetic actually, but something about the girl lured you in and catch your attention, was it because how her emerald eyes shined from the bright light reflecting on them, how her hair slide down smoothly on her porcelain like skin, or how the light of her phone lightened up her pale complexion. You adored watching her. "That's our band mate, Lauren. Lauren Jauregui." You hear Ally say, a warm smile on her lips."She's just going through a tough time but she'll be fine." You averted your gaze down on the floor, your hand involuntarily moved to scratch the back of your neck. "I..ah.." Ally watched you carefully, waiting for what you're about to say. Your feel the air your breathing suddenly turned cold. Your lips quivered, making it more harder for you to swallow the lump in your throat. It's not a panic attack, it's just that you don't know what to do in meeting new people, mostly when looking at those beautiful faces. Because when you do you almost regret saying anything. The twins watched you with concern eyes moving closer to you as they attempt to snatch the attention of the girls from you. Sergio loudly clapped his hands. "It's an honor for us to be one of the opening acts for your concert" Sergio smiled. "How sweet of you guys." Camila awed. "It's awesome for having you guys in our opening." Dinah stated. "I heard your EP a while ago and I'll say it was really good." Normani agreed, nodding her head. "Yeah, I mean it's not like any other trap songs that are commonly used these days, but yours guys was meaningful." "We'll kinda try to keep that way, you know." Troy placed his arm around your shoulders. "This person here made it first after all, the others will be released after the tour starts, I guess." "Since you're all getting along, why don't you all have lunch together." Simon suggested turning towards the 5 girls. "Girls, show them around L.A it's their first time here after all." The girls nod their heads in agreement. You stare at the four in view, hoping that the day won't turn bad as you think of it. The twins continued to converse with the group while you only forced a smile and nod your head absentmindedly when they ask you something. Being occupied by it all you never noticed two figure staring at you. Simon crossed his arms against his chest, tilting his head as he studied you carefully. When he saw your reaction earlier, he knew it would be hard for you to be around with new people. He knows you more than you thought he only knew. You were stubborn, shy -or that's what people think of you when never really understanding who you are, you were sharp tongued and that's why you seldom talked to others who most like be sensitive at words. Lauren's green eyes curiously stared at you, your features in view in-between the two of her friends figures . She watched you carefully, from your [Eye/C] eyes, [Hair/C] hair and those reddish lips pressing together into a tight line. You looked very familiar to her, she just can't point the fact if she ever met you or not. "These waffles are delicious!" Troy exclaimed like a child, stuffing a cut in his mouth. "Nako naman." Sergio drag his palm across his forehead in irritation. "Stop acting like a child Troy, there are girls here." He said, throwing a napkin across the table to his brother. After the tour around L.A, Ally suggested that you all stop by to eat at the Waffle house. Los Angles was a very good place you and twins had been so far. You sat between Sergio and Ally, Dinah next to her on the other side. In front sat, from left to right is, Troy, Camila, Lauren and Normani. Ally waved her hand dismissively at Sergio. "It's alright, Sergio. He's not the only one acting like one." She said, pointing her fork towards Camila. Camila raised her head up from eating her food, she had crumbs on the side of her mouth and a syrup at the end of her lips. Troy looked over to the brunette, a throaty laugh escaping his lips as he stare at her. Camila pouted at him. "What?" She asked, unaware of what she looks like. Troy placed his utensil down on his plate and grabs the clean napkin his brother threw at him. "Here let me, you look like a mess than me." Troy chuckles placing his free hand on the side of Camila's face while he dabbed the napkin gently as he wiped the brunette's face clean. "Thank you, Troy." She gave him an open smile. Troy nods his head nonchalantly and continued to eat his food. You all watched the whole interaction. You never knew Troy had it in him. The girls smiled at Troy's gentlemanliness, never have they ever witnessed someone do things for their friend without flirting on her or making a move. "I ship." Dinah fake coughed. Normani shook her head, continuing the discussion. "So tell about you guys, how's life in the Philippines." She asked, the girls nod their heads wanting to know about the country. Sergio opened his mouth. "It's alright, I guess." "Just alright?, don't you like it there?" Lauren decided to join in. Your ears perked up, your heart palpitating like crazy by hearing Lauren's raspy voice for the very first time in the whole time you've all been together. A silent, shaky breath escaped your gaped lips. You glanced at her. Staring at her enticing beauty. "We do like it, but from where we came from was just a little bit of a problem." Sergio explained. "But in any other regions in the Philippines, there are destination that are commonly visited by tourists like; In Palawan you can ride boats and tour around deep caves with living rocks. In Batangas where you can find a resort that very much looked like Santorini. Island hopping in Leyte, there's many more but I don't think I can describe it all." "Sounds a good place to go on in a vacation." Ally placed her chin on her palm that is resting on the table. "Yeah, if you guys want, we could tour you all around the Philippines too if you decided to go there." Sergio suggested. "No turning back now, Serg. Imma call you if we go there." Dinah crossed her legs, giving Sergio a new nickname. "Serg?" Troy snorted arching a brow at his brother. "Well, you do act like that ugly looking evil toy in toy story." "Why you little-" You wrapped your hands around Sergio's arm, stopping him before he throws a fork at his younger brother. "He's just joking, Sergio." Camila paused on her actions, looking up to stare at your good looking features. "Uh..hey." She called on to you. You turn towards her and raised a brow. "You're really quiet, don't be an others." Camila offered a very adorable smile. You felt your face heat up. "Yeah, I didn't even catch your name." Dinah recalls as she cuts a piece of waffle on her plate. "Y/N." The girls paused and whipped their head towards you with their eyes wide. The sound of utensils clanging on ceramic plates echoed around the table. You felt the hairs on your back stand, being under the gaze of a specific beguile green eyes that unusually catch your attention. "Y/N..." Dinah slowly trailed off, her eyes scrutinizing you. "As in Y/N Simpson? The infamous sister of Bradley Simpson?." You don't know why, but suddenly you felt your mood flare up. Your hand that is placed above the table rolled into a tight fist. "No." You spat coldly, denying it. "They just have the same mo-" People around the table jumped in their seats, startled as your rolled fist collided against the wooden table. You glared at Troy, your eyes turning cold making him slightly whimper on his seat. "Don't even dare finish what you're about to say, Troy." "You're his what, Y/N?" Lauren asks, suddenly sounding curious at the subject. You planned on gluing your mouth shut the whole time you'll be around these new people, but that all went down the drain because of those sensitive topic you don't want to hear. "It's none of your business, Jauregui." "Listen here who ever you are that is related to Bread." Dinah placed her hands on the table, glaring furiously at you. "I think It's Lauren's business since this discussion got something to do with Bread." "You're Brad's what? Friend? Girlfriend?, I don't even give a damn." You snorted. "Just because you know him doesn't mean you can snoop around on things that is related to him." "Guys, please, don't fi-" Ally tried to ease us down but she was cut off again. "We're not snooping around, we're just nicely asking you something but you just decided to act like a b***h a-" Dinah was cut off by a loud, dragging chair as you pushed your seat back. "I don't think I should be wasting my time around you people." "But Y/-" "I'm gonna go first, Sergio." You stated cutting him off, rushing out from your place. "Just go finish what you guys are doing." You stormed out the exit, not caring the looks people are giving you. Rushing outside, you breath in the crisp breeze passing by the warm air of L.A. Your chest rising and falling deeply as your flaring, tight lungs still remains to remind you of what happened earlier. Meanwhile at the Waffle House, the table remained silent since you left. The twins glanced at each other with troubled looks, not knowing what to do since they don't want you to look bad at the girls. "That went...well?" Normani killed the silence, sounding like asking rather than stating. Dinah looked at the twins after gathering herself together. "You need to control you're friend or I won't hesitate to give her a poly beat down." Sergio sighs. "Look, girls. Y/N's a great person, its just that-" "Just what?" Lauren raised a brow. "She just went through a tough time." Troy finishes, getting all serious. "Then who really is Y/N?" Lauren asked furiously. "Dinah's slightly right about Y/N being Brad's sister earlier." Sergio begins to explain, scratching the back of his neck on not knowing what right words to use. "It's not my place to say who she is but the only thing I could tell you about her is that, Brad and Y/N..both have the same mother." "Same mother?" Camila's forehead narrows. "How is that even possible? Mrs. Simpson is only married to Brad's dad, no divorced history, and apparently they've been together for a long time now." Troy's lips stretched to the side. "That's the only information we can tell, you'll only find out if Y/N decided to tell you guys the whole story." "I may not know more about Y/N but if the two says she's a good person I'll believe them." Ally said. Normani nods her head, agreeing with Ally. "They said Y/N went through a tough time, we'll just have to try and understand her even if it's hard for us." Dinah rolled her eyes. "I'll try, but if she does something that angers me, No one's stopping me." The people around the table looked at the raven haired girl that's mostly listening to the interaction. Lauren rolled her eyes, crossing her arms against her chest as she leaned back to her seat with an annoyed face. "Just like Dinah. No promises." --- Follow me: insta: riee.aigle27 twttr: imcoolasblue
