Troy watched you from the sofa as you entered the kitchen, towel wrapped around your wet hair, his nose catching a whiff of the strong and fresh smell of your favorite body soap. You hopped on the seat next to him, reaching for the empty bowl and cereal.
"What?" You asked, feeling Troy's stare at the side of your face.
Troy looked at you in disbelief. "Don't tell me you don't remember what happened earlier."
"No," Your brows scrunched up in confusion, reaching for the milk and pouring its contents in the bowl. "What happened?"
"The couples happened." Sergio answered as he entered the room. He went straight to the pantry, taking out some empty bowl as well and utensils before taking seat infront of you. "They had a competition on who had the loudest argument, and apparently, as usual, you're too grumpy in the morning to care."
"Really?" You chuckled, bringing the spoon full of cereal in your mouth.
"Fyesh," Troy point his spoon at you, his mouth full. You squint your eyes at him, wiping off the milk Troy's spoon sprinkled at you. Troy gulped down. "And did you know, Brad locked Lauren out of her room."
"That dwarf," You clenched your rolled fist, finding out the reason why Lauren asked to sleep in your room. "Where's he anyways?"
"Out." Sergio answered plainly.
"Out, what?" You asked for a clearer answer. "Is he gone for good?"
"Don't get your hopes up, Y/N." Troy said. "They're out with the girls, didn't you notice why Lauren's not on your side when you woke up?"
"They didn't even ask us to join." You scoffed, munching on your food. You paused after realizing something and slowly turn your head towards the boy besides you. "How did you know that she was sleeping in my room?"
"I saw you two, duh." Troy rolled his eyes as if you asked a dumb question. "Look, Y/N. I'm going to be honest with you, I unintentionally saw it all happened in your room, I'm sorry."
You glared at him, smacking your hand at the back of his head. You heard him whimpered. "Why the f**k are you even doing in my room?!"
Sergio laughed at his brother. Troy held his arms up in defense. "It's just that, everytime I call you in your room, Lauren had the habit to appear in there as well."
You groaned, leaning your forehead on your palm. "But I swear to you, Y/N. I know Lauren likes you."
"Shut up."
"Believe me dude, after that almost kiss." Troy brought up.
You lift your head up and looked at him in the eyes. "How do you know?"
"The eyes dude, they never lie."
You just laughed it out. "I already want to move on from her, Troy, so please." You paused, sighing. "Don't give me a reason to get my hopes up."
"No matter what you do, Y/N." Troy paused, leaning his arms on the table. "The harder you fight, the deeper you fall."
You rolled your eyes at him. "Anyways," You dismissed the conversation you and Troy had. "I thought Lauren and Bread had a fight? why are they hanging out today?"
"I don't know, Troy's the one who suggested it." Sergio replied.
You turn to the boy next to you, he shook his head. "Not me, the other Troy, Troy uglytree."
"Uglytree? Wow, that's really a self offending name." You muttered. "Who's he? What's his connection to the girls?"
Sergio carefully looked to his brother. "Ally's boyfriend." He replied, his eyes waiting for his brothers reaction.
"Ally has a boyfriend?" Your eyes widened in surprise, you turn your attention to Troy, placing your hand on his back and pat it softly. "It's going to be alright, my friend."
"Shut up."

You all sat around the couches the twins worked on connecting together around the tall christmas tree in the middle of the living room. You sat with the twins at the edge of the sofa, away from the girls, especially Lauren, and the two new guys who just popped out of nowhere and decided to stay in without even giving a consent.
While the Fifth Harmony's having a fun conversation with their band mates boyfriends, you and the twins just pretended to listen with your mouths shut. Too focused on being quiet to care. There weren't any progress happened between you and Lauren throughout the day, nonetheless to say, you thought you'd like to keep it that way.
You felt your phone vibrated in your pocket, you slid your hand in and took it out. You stared at the screen, an amused smirk appeared on your lips when you read the name of the caller flashing on the screen.
You swiped your fingers to answer. "It's been a long time, I almost thought you forgot about us."
You hear her snort on the other line. "Shut up, I've been busy."
"Busy on what? Dating?" You felt a tap on your shoulders and see Troy and Sergio looking at you with curiosity in their eyes.
"Listen, Y/N-"
"Who's that?" Troy mouthed after he nudged you.
"Christina." You silently replied.
Sergio's eyes brightened with excitement after you mouthed Inah's name. He signaled you to give him the phone, you obliged and gave it to him. You watched the two fight for the phone and turned away to look at Lauren only to see that she's already staring at you with those enticing green eyes that send chills up your spine.
"Excuse me, everyone," Brad stood up, raising his hands to get everybody's attention.
You rolled your eyes at him, your jaw clenched as you fight the urge to throw something at him.
"I have a very important announcement." Brad declared, his invisible lips curving into s smile. "A special person decided to come and visit us this Christmas, since I'll be spending my entire holiday break with my girlfriend, Lauren."
Sergio groaned, his arms against his chest. "Great, another free loader." You nudged him with your elbows. "What?" He groaned painly, rubbing his sides.
"Be nice."
He looked at you in disbelief. "To Brad?"
"No, you doofus." You arched a brow. "To whoever it is."
"Everybody, please welcome, my mother, Y/M/N." Brad introduced.
He point his hands towards the door, and on sync it opened. Your mother, who you haven't seen for so many years entered the living room. You stared at her ascending figure with teary eyes and shallow breaths, you feel it in your chest, like a hand digging in crumbling your heart like it was only glass. Gulping the lump in your throat, you looked away, blinking in the tears.
The twins eyes were wide, as if it was about to pop out of its sockets. But Troy's the one even more surprised than his brother, since Sergio saw your mother when you first met your little sister.
"Mom!" Lauren stood up, grinning widely as she meet your mother in the middle of the room wrapping her in a warm embrace. "When did you get here?" She asked when she pulled away. "Why didn't you tell me? I could've fetch you out of the station."
Your mother shook her head, giving Lauren a assuring pat on her shoulders. "It's okay my dear, I've been here for awhile. I was just taking a rest in Brad's room."
Sergio snorted to himself. "Brad's room," He whispers. "Don't you mean Lauren's room?"
You licked your now dry lips, bowing your head down, hoping that she won't see you if you did it. But it sucks that the things you don't want to happen find its way out of a loophole.
"Y/N?" You tensed up in your seat, your hands clenching your knees. "Y/N, baby?" You hear her voice crack.
You look up to her, with a force, tight smile. She hurried towards you, sensing that she's about to hug you, you stayed put, thinking that it was not necessary to do. Your mother wrapped her arms around the back of your shoulder, pulling you in for an embrace, your cheeks pushed against her stomach. Her hand comfortingly sliding back and forth on your head.
You just sat there, like a stone, not knowing what you're going to do in the situation. Your mother sensed the awkwardness and stiffness of your body, she pulled away, looking down at you.
"Look at you," She begun, her hands running through your hair. "All grown up, how have you been?"
"I've always been alright." You replied plainly, standing up. "Until now, I'm gonna go and take a rest." You said, walking away from her and towards the door.
"Just like that?" You paused on your tracks, turning your head around to look at her. "You're not going to hug your mother before you go?"
You looked at her with a puzzled expression, pretending to think. "I don't think it's necessary, I didn't grew up knowing that kind of gesture." You shrugged.
Your mother sighed. "Y/N I'm-" Before she could even finish you're already out the door.

Troy has his arms crossed at the back of his head as he and his brother, Sergio, ambled down the hallway to your room. Troy yawned, his mouth opened wide while his eyes squinted close. Sergio clicked his tongue, looking at his brother.
"Cover your mouth." He told his younger brother. "Mama never forgot to teach you manners."
"I'm a guy, Gio." Troy shrugged.
"Me too, but I'm not sloppy like you." Sergio rolled his eyes. "Anyways, back to what were suppose to do."
"It was pretty intense back there wasn't it huh?" Troy muttered tiredly. They both took a sharp turn to the left, they can already see the door to your room from the distance. "Not until Y/N left, the rest got pretty awkward."
Sergio agreed. "But, you know, I still can't belive she's Y/N's mother."
"Yeah, me too." Troy nods as they both halted in front of your room. "Y/N's mother looked younger that her age."
"It's funny how you don't know what name you're going to call her."
"How about you, huh? What are you going to call her?" Troy lifted his chin up at his brother.
Sergio ignored his brother, he knocks on the door. He lifted his rolled fist up and pound the door with the side of his hand as Troy leaned his side on the wall next to it. "Hey Y/N!" Sergio called you from the outside. "Open up!"
No answer. Sergio glanced to his brother. "Do you think she's already asleep?" He asked.
Troy shrugged. "Beats me, let's just give her some time alone, Gio."
Sergio nods. "Okag then." He muttered, before they retreat back to were they came.
"How's your date with Camila?" Troy asked his brother with a teasing smile. Sergio shrugged. "You f****d it up didn't you?" He glared at his brother.
"I was nervous okay?" Sergio sighed. "I was nervous if she doesn't like the dinner I set up."
"Nervous my ass, Gio." He looked at his brother, annoyed. "You're never going to get a girlfriend."
"Well then I'm sorry that I'm not straightforward as you."
Troy placed his hand on his brothers shoulder, both stopping in the middle of the empty hallway. "It's not about being straightforward, Gio." He advised. "It's about having a courage to have someone you know who's worth taking risk for."
"Wooooow, Troy." Sergio clapped his hands slowly at his brother. "So you risk getting heartbroken, again, for someone that you didn't even yet asked out."
"Shush," Troy frowned. "Mines' a different story."
"Whatever you say."

You tilt the full ladle and poured the thick batter in the hot pan and waited. Morning came and you find yourself wanting to prepare a breakfast for the girls and the twins, but since there's extras coming in the picture, you just learned to live it up. You raised your head up and caught a glimpse of a faint reflection of your face on the windowpane. Tired E/C orbs, lifting your hand up brushing your fingers on the dark bags under your eyes.
Your eyes shift its focus when you notice the golden sun rising up behind the mountains, its rays of sunlight surely will awake those who is in slumber.
"Good morning." You replied a curt nod your when you hear your mother greeted as she entered the kitchen.
You look down on the pan, flipping the pancake to see the other side is perfectly cooked brown. You felt a presence beside you, the thought of turning towards the person sent you chills. Your mother stood beside you and watched you cook.
Her eyes scanning the stove, one pan has eggs and bacon with cherry tomatoes on the side -still cooking- and the other is the pan you're holding with your hand as you took the cooked pancake out and poured another batter in.
Your mother smiled at the sight. "That look's delicous," She praised, catching a whiff of the delicious smell. "Who taught you to cook?"
"Grandma." You answered plainly.
"Oh.." She slowly nods her head. "How is she?"
"Fine."
"Tell her I said Hi when you call her." She requested.
"Sure." Sadly, your mother still haven't notice that you don't want to talk to her, luckily you hear someone entered the kitched.
"Smells good in here." You let out a relief sigh when your hear Lauren's voice.
You turn around, throwing her a warm sided smile as she enters the kitchen. "Morning." You greeted.
"Good morning, Y/N," She greeted back then turning to your mother. "And you too mom."
"Good morning, my dear." Your mother greeted back, finally leaving your side that you thanked the heavens gratefully.
You lift the pan containing the cooked eggs, bacon and cherry tomatoes and placed them on the side before turning the gas off the side of its stove where it came from. Lauren stood beside you, leaning to her side, using her elbows as a support.
"Need some help?" Lauren asked.
You flipped the pancake before turning your attention to her. You stared at her, her smile stretching widely to her ears. "Could you transfer that on a plate?" You asked, jotting your chin towards the cooked eggs.
"Sure." She obliged, taking a white ceramic plate on the rack and a tong at the edge of the counter. "You sure these taste as good as it looks?"
"One way to find out." You grinned, you flipped the pancake before reaching your hand and opened the pantry, taking out a balsamic vinegar and drizzled it on the cherry tomatoes.
After that, you plucked a tomato out from its cooked, limp vine and moved it closer to your lips to lightly blow on it to cool. "Here." You muttered, now moving it closer to the girl before you.
Lauren leaned in, opening her lips and took the small tomato in her mouth. You can feel her lips grazing the tips of your fingers, giving you the urge to taste it as your eyes landed on her lips. She hummed with closed eyes, tasting the savor and juiciness of the tomato. She shook her head with a smile in her face, it was unbelievably delicous.
She opened her eyes and shrugged, pretending to act nonchalantly. "Well, it taste alright."
"Really?" You gave her an amused expression. "Judging your reaction earlier, it seems that it's more than that."
Lauren giggled, raking her hair that had fallen in front of her face to the side. "Okay, I admit. It's really delicious. Happy?"
You chuckled. "For being honest, I'll make your favorite."
"Nutella pancakes?!" She squealed excitedly, hugging your arm from the side.
You nod your head at her. "Yes, now, can you wake up the others?"
"What's the magic word?"
"Hurry up." She pinched you on the side, you groaned lightly. "Please?"
Lauren nod her head with a wide smile before hurrying out the kitchen to wake others. Good luck with Dinah. You shook your head, remembering that she's going to be pissed off. You turn around, to get the nutella beside the bread and fruits for Lauren's pancake, and met an eye to eye contact with your mother, who's still in the kitchen, sitting on one of the seats by the islands.
You forgot that she was still there, well, Lauren made you forget about her. Did she watched the whole thing between you and Lauren?. You gulped, coughing awkwardly and took the jar from the table in front of her before turning your back again towards her.
"You and Lauren seemed pretty close, hm?." Your mother asked.
You nod your head curtly. "Yes, she's uh- very interesting person to be with."
"She is," Your mother agreed. "That's why I liked her for Brad."
Your eyes briefly rolled to the edge when you heard it. You looked down, scooping out a nutella from the jar and pour it in the uncooked side of the pancake that is currently on the pan. You poured another layer of batter ontop of the nutella, and flipped it to the other side, sandwiching the chocolate.
"Whatever you're feeling, please stop it."
You paused, turning your head around to face your mother, looking at her with confused expression. "Excuse me?"
Your mother sighed, standing up from her seat and made her way towards you. "She's your brothers girlfriend, so please, fall in love with any person you want but her."
"I just can't dictate who my heart beats for" You scoffed at her. "Besides, you don't have the right to have a say in my life."
"I'm your mother, Y/N." Your mothers voice has tinged of venom. "Of course I have the right to tell you what to do."
You shook your head at her. "No, that right went out the window when I was only a child." You laughed at her bitterly. "I don't have a mother when I grew up."
You turned off the gas stove and transferred the nutella pancake on the plate you reached for at the edge of the counter. You moved away from the stove, walking across to place the pancakes on the island table. Your eyes rolled, feeling your mothers presence approaching you.
"My gosh Y/N, it's all in the past." Your mother whined. "I know you still feel upset but I'm sorry okay?"
"Upset?" You let out a loud laugh. "You think I was just only upset?" You paused and shook your head, your eyebrows furrowing at her. "I wish It was just easy as that, but it didn't, you made me feel worthless!" Your voice boomed around the kitchen.
Your eyes watered, chest falling deeply as you breathe raggedly, right now the only thing in your mind is to tell her how hard it was for you. "I lost a father! But you acted like it was you who died!" You yelled at her, you can feel your lungs straining. "You left me, like I wasn't even born, you've spent your life with your own family while I drown myself with the thought that I was paying the price of your mistake! when I even felt like I was one of them!"
Your head snapped to the side, with a stinging sensation on your cheeks. You slowly turn your head towards you mother, seeing her shocked as well as you did. Her terrified eyes staring down to her hand she used to slap you.
Her then switched to you. "Y/N-"
"Stop. Just please." You begged, tears streaming down your cheeks. "Get out of my life."
"Y/N..." Your head spun to the side to see everyone standing by the door way to the kitchen.
The twins eyes emitted something you hated to see, pity, you f*****g hated that look, that is now the look the girls are giving to you. A silent sigh escaped your lips and marched past them, you don't want to be in the room any longer.
You jerked backwards when you felt a hand tugged on your arm. Brad glared at you. "How dare you say that to our mother." He hissed.
You pulled your arm from his hard grasp, fighting back his glare. "Your mother, I don't have one." You told him before walking away.
