“I dreamed—and saw two little holes on the snow-white wall of our house. I look at them and say to myself that it's okay, we'll repair them...” the mother of the hero of the Celestial Hundred Ihor Kostenko had had this dream two weeks before the tragedy. It later turned out to be a prophetic one. He was shot by a sniper in his heart on February 20. The hero of the Celestial Hundred was found near the October Palace in Instytutska street.
When Ihor died, his parents were in Russia, earning a living. It's there that they got the tragic news. “We arrived at night from St. Petersburg, and Ihor—dead already—had been brought from Kyiv. That's how we met,” says his father about the last meeting with son.
