Her Words Against Her Episode 1 Written by Charles N Okere Angela was a good woman, a kind and gentle soul. She was everything that every man needs in a woman; she could also be described as wife material. She's the kind of woman unmarried men desire to call their wife, she's that woman men are proud of taking home to show to their families as the woman they want to grow old with. But Angela has never been lucky with men, as she constantly goes in and out of every relationship. She has been in 15 relationships, which always lasted for three months. The men who were once loving, caring, kind, and adoring her like a queen would suddenly change to monsters after three months. They would be mean, harsh, and hostile to her for no reason and end the relationship. While some would just stop communicating with her or avoid her like a deadly disease. She became a laughing stock, subject to ridicule and mockery among her friends, family, and those in the place she lived. Even strangers she didn't know whispered in gossip about her whenever she walked along the road, street, market places, shopping malls, and supermarkets. She was known as unstable, a name given to her by a group of sadists. She was gradually going into depression and was almost at the point of taking her life when she met a man named Natural, who turned her world around. He became her brother, best friend, comforter, and counselor. He made her understand that there's nothing wrong with her; she was beautiful, adorable, lovely, cute, smart, intelligent, brilliant, and wonderful. So, she shouldn't allow people's opinions about her to affect her life or bother her. She was in charge of her own happiness. Some months later, Natural told Angela that he wanted to go into a relationship with her. At first, Angela refused due to her previous relationships and the way they ended. She was so scared the same would happen if she eventually went into a relationship with Natural. Although she had been seeing Natural as someone she would like to have a rebound with, after weeks of continuous persuasion from Natural, she finally agreed. Natural promised her never to leave or break up with her just as the others did. She agreed, but deep inside, she was so scared. She couldn't stand or survive the shame if Natural eventually broke up with her after three months. She prayed for what she feared not to happen as the relationship got closer and closer to the 3rd month. Miraculously, it got to the third month, and nothing happened. Then it moved to the 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, and on the 11th month, they got married. Their wedding was the talk of the town. Their wedding pictures were all over social media. Those who laughed at her, made mockery of her, ridiculed, and gossiped about her were now the ones who praised her and uploaded her and Natural's pictures on their various social media platforms. While some bowed and covered their heads in shame, they traveled to Miami, Texas for their honeymoon and then to South Africa. They were living happily as a couple, going out for dinner, playing around like kids who had just fallen in love, and helping each other in the kitchen.
