Meanwhile in the palace in Roland's room, the Queen barges in taking in the wreckage of the room when suddenly, a cough gets her attention. She turns to see Roland's shoulder drooping as he coughs grabbing the bed post dramatically while weakly calling out, "Mother." A pang of guilt strikes the Queen as she ponders on why she always arrives at the wrong time not knowing that she unknowingly saved a life ~ Ivan's. "Honey, are you hurt?" the Queen asked running to his side and examined him dropping the bowl of soup she brought for him on the nearest table to his bed while leading him to rest on his bed. "Yeah I burst my lip." Roland says pointing to his lips. "Sorry child. I'm sorry I've been a bad mother." The Queen quietly sobs dabbing her tears with her soft velvety handkerchief. Roland disguise slips around his mother, his masks cracking around the edges as he forgets his role getting up faster than he should to comfort his mom as he hated to see her cry. "Mom, no, you're a good mother, the best in the world." He stated as he noted a small of a smile blooming across her features as she turned to face her son cleaning off the last of the tears on her face only to realize that her 'sick' son was sitting up hunched which wasn't good for him. Alarmed, she pushed him back to bed tucking him in saying, "Good child, don't scare mother like that okay? Now lie down. I brought you some soup." She said offering the soup that she had earlier dropped. "Mom, again?" Roland whines. "Yes dear, you need the strength." The Queen coaxed kissing his forehead. Just as she turned to leave, she returned bringing up another topic,"Darling, before I came in, I swear I heard voices which clearly did not belong to you so whose was it?" The Queen questioned walking around. "Oh and the old butler Alfred told me that a mysterious cat has gone rogue even destroying your room." She said pointing to the mess in his room. [Flashback] The incident was so funny that Alfred kept laughing like a fool in love. He wondered if the young master thought that he was a fool not to notice but he found it humorous nonetheless. He couldn't help but itch to share it with someone even after promising the prince secrecy. And who was more worthy than the Queen herself? He marches to the Queen's Chambers knocking before going in. The Queen surprised to see him asks," To what do I owe this pleasant visit old Butler Alfred." He adjusted his bowtie,"I have come but with good news My Lady." Alfred said bowing. "You know my queen I have served the royal family for over 40 years now." Alfred started. The queen looked on questioningly,"Are you planning on retiring? I mean, I wouldn't mind but we would miss your presence greatly as you have been of very great help and good use to us." "What nonsense?, my lady I don't plan on retiring at least not anytime soon. I want to see that i***t grow up." He said beaming a friendly smile at the Queen. The Queen sighed in deep relief not realizing that she had been holding her breath for a while. "Then what brings you here?" The Queen questioned c*****g an eyebrow at him. "As I said your Royal Highness." Alfred continued,"I have served the royal palace for over forty years now but this is the first time I've seen a cat destroy a whole room before." Alfred said laughing. [End of Flashback]
