Chapter Five - Beta Mark's Bathroom

Ash’s POV

Last night after the twins made a mess in the kitchen, I was very angry because the leftover spaghetti and meatballs went to waste. I was actually planning to eat some more but seeing my food on the floor got me pissed. I wasn’t angry at the twins, I was just very angry at myself for not getting seconds on time before this happened. The comment about Esme taking me to the hospital was hilarious. Who would think that some three years old would talk like that? What do they know about constipation? That is a big word for a three-year-old.

As soon as they got off the counter, dusting themselves off, they ran off back to their rooms. I’ve decided to make sure they made their way back to the room. Sure enough, I have found them tucked back in bed. I’ve stayed around for a while to make sure they are fast asleep. Once they were, I finally went down the stairs and met up with the group for our run. I had a good run.

The next day...

Today, we are expecting visitors to come. Grandpa Black, Uncle Jim and his mate, Uncle Nate and his mate along with the Third in command and a few pack warriors are coming to visit the family. Oh, isn’t that nice? Esmeralda is going to be so happy to see them. She doesn’t know yet because I wanted to surprise her. So I had everything planned out. We are going to have a BBQ outside in the gardens. We are all going to enjoy it.

"Ash, what are you doing and where are the twins," asked Esmeralda? I’m currently in the office making a few phone calls and inviting a few friends from other packs to stop by for the BBQ today. So I let Esmeralda know what I was doing and wondered about the twins. I wonder where Esmeralda hid the cookie jar this time. My guess is that the twins are hunting the cookie jar down.

"So, where did you hid the cookie jar this time, my love," I asked her while giving her a smirk, letting her know that the twins are probably looking for the cookie jar at this moment?

"I’ve hidden it in Beta Mark’s room; in his bathroom," said Esmeralda. The worst is yet to come and I have a good feeling Beta Mark is in for a good treat.

"Then maybe you might want to check Beta Mark’s room right away before he finds a huge mess in his bathroom. Currently, Beta Mark is outside training the wolves in combat but soon will be done. So I suggest for you head over there now before..," I said before I was cut off by the sounds of Beta Mark's voice coming from upstairs.

"Oh s**t," I said knowing that the training was over too soon. Esmeralda took off running towards Beta Mark’s room. I have decided to come along. I wanted to laugh so bad but then again, I don't know what's going on in Beta Mark's room.

"What did you guys do to my precious bathroom," said Beta Mark? He said not knowing whether to laugh or be very upset with the mess.

Melissa and Nathaniel in union said, "blame mother, she hid our cookie jar in your bathroom." The twins continued to munch on their precious cookies while ignoring Beta Mark.

Beta Mark said, "you’ve got cookie crumbs all over my sink, the floor, and my bathtub. It looks like someone took a load of s**t and couldn’t control their bowel movements." Then the twins began to laugh and continuing eating their cookies. There were chocolate smeared and it sure did look that somebody had diarrhea and squirted the floors and his bathtub. The sink wasn’t that bad though.

I was in tears of laughter and couldn’t stop when I have arrived with Esmeralda. My twins just made my day. I call this payback for Beta Mark. He owes me so much already. 

"Esmeralda, get the twins and take care of them. We must get ready for the BBQ," I finally said after I was done laughing at the whole situation. Esmeralda gathers up the twins and apologizes to Beta Mark about the mess then walks out of the room to get the twins cleaned up.

"I’m very sorry, Beta Mark, but you can’t stop the cookie monsters to get to their cookie jar," I said while holding in my laughter. You can't really stop the twins from doing their deed. They will do anything to find their cookies. Then Beta Mark and I began to laugh after what I said to him earlier.

"It’s ok, Ash. I’ve needed this good laugh. I’ll just call the maids to come to clean up this mess," said Beta Mark who calmed down a little from his laugh.

"I have already mind-link for them. They are coming this very instant. Don’t forget about the BBQ. It will start at noon," I said after I've calmed down from laughing. After I said this to Beta Mark, I’ve made my way out of his room.

"I wouldn’t miss it for the world," said Beta Mark while looking for a change of clothes to shower in a different room.
