Chapter 1: Twilight Experience
Elizabeth strolled through the thick backwoods, the moon giving occasion to feel qualms about a silver sparkle in the trees. Her strides reverberated through the quiet woods as she advanced toward a segregated clearing. This was her asylum, where she could rehearse her art without interference. As she arrived at the focal point of the clearing, Elizabeth shut her eyes and took a full breath, feeling the energy of the backwoods move through her. She started to recite delicately, calling upon the components to help her in her spellcasting. Unexpectedly, the tranquility was broken by a stirring in the shrubs. Elizabeth's eyes snapped open as she brought her arms up in a cautious position. She could detect a presence close by, however she was unable to tell if it was a companion or enemy. "Who's there?" she called out, her voice helping through the trees. A figure ventured out from behind a tree, and Elizabeth's heart skirted a thump. It was a werewolf, his eyes sparkling in the murkiness. She had heard accounts of the werewolf packs that meandered these woods, yet she had never experienced one face to face. The werewolf moved forward, his eyes never leaving hers. Elizabeth felt a flood of dread and rebellion, her senses advising her to run and her preparation advising her to persevere. "What is it that you need?" she asked, her voice consistent notwithstanding the shake in her grasp. The werewolf didn't reply, rather moving forward. Elizabeth felt a flood of energy working inside her, prepared to release a spell immediately. Yet, similarly as the strain between them arrived at its pinnacle, the werewolf unexpectedly bowed his head and stepped back. Elizabeth watched in disarray as he vanished once again into the backwoods, letting her be by and by. As she remained there, slowing down to rest, Elizabeth really wanted to ponder who the werewolf was and why he had come to her. She had forever been educated to fear the werewolf packs, yet this experience had left her inclination interested instead of apprehensive. Over the course of the following couple of days, Elizabeth couldn't shake the experience from her brain. She wound up moved back to the clearing, expecting to get one more look at the strange werewolf. Days transformed into weeks, and Elizabeth had essentially surrendered any expectation of seeing the werewolf once more. However, one evening, as she was leaving the clearing, she heard a delicate snarling behind her. Pivoting, she saw the werewolf standing only a couple of feet away, his eyes fixed on hers. This time, Elizabeth felt a feeling of commonality and trust, as though she had known the werewolf for a lifetime. "Hi," she said delicately, making a stride nearer. The werewolf didn't move, yet she could detect his worry. She connected a hand, wanting to pass on her quiet expectations. "It's OK," she said soothingly. "I won't hurt you." The werewolf delayed the slightest bit prior to moving forward. Elizabeth felt a surge of energy as she understood that they were imparting, even without words. Over the course of the following couple of weeks, Elizabeth and the werewolf started to frame a bond, meeting in the clearing consistently to talk and investigate the backwoods together. She discovered that his name was Anthony, and that he was the alpha of his pack. He had never met a witch, and was interested by her powers and information on the components. As their fellowship developed, Elizabeth started to feel a mixing in her. Elizabeth couldn't deny the developing fascination she felt for Anthony. His savage reliability and defense towards his pack, combined with his delicate nature towards her, made her heart race each time they were together. Their discussions turned individual, and Elizabeth found out about Anthony's battles as a werewolf. He needed to continually battle his repressed monster, and once in a while it seemed like a waste of time and resources. Elizabeth felt for him, as she also had battled with her own evil spirits previously. One evening, as they sat by a little stream, Anthony went to Elizabeth and said, "I realize we come from various universes, yet I can't assist how I with feeling about you. I realize it's taboo, however I can't avoid you." Elizabeth's heart jumped at his words, yet she knew the risks of their relationship. Witches and werewolves had been foes for quite a long time, with accounts of ferocious conflicts and broken partnerships. She had been instructed to avoid werewolves, yet Anthony had previously caught her heart. "I know," she answered delicately. "However, we must watch out. The individuals who might never acknowledge us are overall together." Anthony gestured, figuring out the weightiness of their circumstance. "I'll take the necessary steps to safeguard you," he said, his eyes locking onto hers. Elizabeth felt a shudder run down her spine, both from the power of his look and the acknowledgment that their affection was without a doubt prohibited. In any case, she was unable to deny the sentiments that were developing inside her, and she realize that she would successfully accompany him. As they strolled back to the clearing, Elizabeth really wanted to feel a feeling of disquiet. She had forever been careful when it came to issues of the heart, however Anthony had gotten through her guards. She couldn't resist the opportunity to think about what the outcomes of their adoration would be. As they arrived at the clearing, they were met with a surprising sight. A gathering of werewolves, drove by a harsh looking male, were remaining in the focal point of the clearing. Anthony worried, his impulses letting him know that this was not a cordial visit. "Alpha Anthony," the male said, his voice dribbling with scorn. "What are you doing here with a witch?" Elizabeth ventured forward, her jaw held high. "I'm Elizabeth, a witch of the backwoods. I have only good intentions." The male jeered at her, his eyes loaded up with disdain. "Witches have no spot here. You ought to leave." Anthony ventured forward, his body tense with outrage. "Elizabeth is my companion. She has caused nothing to damage us." The male's eyes limited, and Elizabeth could detect the strain between the two werewolves. She realized that this present circumstance could undoubtedly grow into savagery, and she would have rather not seen anybody get injured. "Please," she said delicately, in the middle between them. "We can figure out how to calmly coincide. We don't need to be foes." The male took a gander at her with scorn, yet after a strained second, he gestured. "Great. However, assuming any mischief comes to our pack, you will be considered mindful." With that, the gathering of werewolves transformed and vanished once more into the backwoods, letting Elizabeth and Anthony be indeed. As they remained there, getting their breaths, Elizabeth really wanted to feel a feeling of premonition. She realized that this experience was only the start of the difficulties they will confront. Elizabeth and Anthony kept on strolling through the woodland, their faculties on guard. The experience with the werewolves had left them both shaken, and Elizabeth couldn't shake the inclination that they were being watched. As they strolled, the trees developed denser, the shadows more obscure. Elizabeth could hear the sound of branches snapping underneath, and the stir of leaves as animals hastened away from their way. "Anthony," she murmured, her voice scarcely perceptible over the woods. "I could do without this. I don't figure we ought to be here." Anthony saw her, worry carved all over. "I know," he said. "In any case, we need to continue onward. We need to figure out what's happening." Elizabeth gestured, however she was unable to shake the feeling of disquiet that was worrying her. She felt like they were strolling into a snare, and that something horrendous was sitting tight for them just around the following twist.
