I hold Adelia close to my chest as I watch everyone run in. All five of her protectors and the rest of her mates are panting for air. Trying to catch their breaths.
What happen to them?
Please tell me there isn't any threat Adelia needs to deal with. At this point, she needs to focus on her heat and getting through this.
