(Antonio's POV)
I watch as my beautiful mate thrashes around in pain, making water go all over the bathroom. The ice is melting faster than it can be filled. No matter how much we put in, her heat melts the ice within minutes. Her skin is sizzling from the temperature difference. Seeing her like this and knowing there is nothing you can do about it, hurts so bad. I just want her better.
I watch as Alerious jumps in, not caring about anyone else as he pulls Adelia into his arms. Wrapping her up, securingly. She sighs in content, showing that his touch is obviously helping her but you can still hear the sizzling and see the steam shooting off her skin. This doesn't look good at all. Are heats suppose to be this intense? Out of all the things I learned, this shouldn't be happening.
