***Ember POV***
I walked down to the kitchen deciding to wait for Gage there. Kendric and Damion were already sitting at the breakfast bar. They both bowed their heads in respect as I walked into the room. “Good morning guys,” I greeted them, forcing a smile onto my face. Kendric looked behind me as if waiting for Gage to storm in. “Hey Kendric, don’t worry about Gage. We had a talk after you left and it won’t happen again. You’re my friend and he needs to get over it.”
Kendric seemed to let out a breath he had been holding but still seemed a little unsure. I couldn’t blame him though, Gage had all but lost his s**t on him. “I’m glad you consider me a friend Luna, but Alpha Gage was right. What I did was disrespectful and out of place. I’m sorry I even put him or you in that position.”
