When Ember hugged Athan again today I was able to keep control even though I was a little surprised she had the nerve to do that again. My wolf didn’t fight me as much on it because we had hurt our mate last night. She still hadn’t forgiven us for that. Neither one of us wanted to make it worse or push her away more. I closed my eyes taking deep breathes to help me get through it. Athan hugged her back, his eyes darting toward me. He knows it bothers me and he did good by not lingering to long.
