The pain passed and my muscles relaxed allowing me to sit up straight again. Gage was pale as he stared at me with uncertainty. Everyone was circled around me looking at me like I had two heads: well, everyone but Stormy. She was kneeled on the floor still, holding my hands and gently rubbing them. I looked at her for answers, “It’s okay. I believe you are having pre labor contractions. For humans its Braxton hicks but for us wolves well they are ten times worse.” she said with a faint smile. “Alpha Gage, if you don’t mind, I would like to send for our pack doctor. I already explained to Ember how our pregnancies are a little different from regular wolf pregnancies.” She told him calmly. He quickly nodded his approval to her never taking his eyes off me.
