"Avayah!? Where the hell are you? We've been looking for you everywhere since last night! Your mother was crying the whole night! Jacques had to inject a tranquilizer to Night because she became wild and wanted to go out badly. Go home now lady and start explaining yourself!" Kenji was really angry with his daughter but when he heard her voice, he felt relieved. "Where is she? Is she okay?" Ava heard her mom's voice and she felt really guilty of making her parents really worried about her. "I'm really, really sorry, Dad. I'm going home right now. Please tell Mom and Night that I'm on my way. Sorry, Dad. I love you." Ava ended the call immediately and looked at the people who were waiting for her to finish the call. "Thank you very much for your help. I'm forever in your debt for letting me stay here. I do want to ask what happened last night and why I ended up here but I need to go home right now." Ava said. "Yeah, heard that clearly." Truett said. "No!" Ava looked at Jakobe with a raised brow. Truett and Malcolm had to clear their throats for Jakobe to stop his Alpha tone. Truett patted his best fiend's shoulder and squished it lightly to send a message to Jakobe. "He means that you should not go home alone. Jakobe will fetch you going back to your house and make sure that you are safe and sound when you reach home, right Jakobe?" Truett said looking at his bestfriend. "She's my mate, I won't let her go! She should stay with me." Jakobe said using the mind link. "Yeah, we knew that but does she know? She's a human and you heard it clearly that her parents were worried sick about her. Just let her go home for now." Truett said through the mind link. "What about the rouges last night?" Jakobe said still using the mind link. "For now she's safe because, maybe those rouges were just looking for their prey and she was there." Truett said. "No! I won't let her go. I will let her stay in our pack! She's my mate and we should be together!" Truett rolled his eyes because of Jakobe's hard headedness. "Alpha." Both Truett and Jakobe looked at Malcolm. "You can order some of our warriors to guard her in their place. For now, it's the safest place for her to stay while were dealing with the problems with the rouges. Only few knew that's she's your mate and until then, she's just an ordinary girl to others." Malcolm weigh his words before telling it to his Alpha. He knew that when Jakobe decided on something, he will stand for it and no one is gonna change it. But Ava and her safety is an exemption to his rule. "Thunder?" Jakobe called his wolf to ask about his side. "She's your mate, not mine." Jakobe rolled his eyes hearing his wolf's words. "She's my mate and whether you like it or not, she's your mate too." Jakobe said. "Nope, she's not." Thunder said that made Jakobe puffed air to release his annoyance to his wolf. Ava felt that she was left behind by the three men in front of her. They were just looking at each other but no words are coming out from their mouths. "Ahm, excuse me?" Ava spoke and that's the only time she got the three men's attention. "I need to go home as in, right now?" Ava said showing that her phone is ringing and the caller ID showed DAD. They were already outside of Truett's mansion when Ava remembered her car. "Malcolm, right?" Ava said. "Yes Luna. I mean, Ava." Malcolm said when he saw Ava's creased forehead. "You got my bag from my car but where's my car?" Ava asked. Malcolm looked at Jakobe and when his Alpha nodded, he spoke. "After sending you and Alpha Jakobe, I mean Jakobe, back here. We came back to where you left your car but..." Malcolm wasn't able to finish his words because Ava spoke. "So, you're the one who saved me?" "Alpha Jakobe, I mean Jakobe was the one who saved you." Ava looked at Jakobe intently. "About your car." Jakobe said that made Ava's mind returned to her car. "Yes, about my car." Ava said then looked at Malcolm. "It was a wrecked." Malcolm said that made Ava's eyes went wide. "What!?" Ava's loud voice boomed all over the place. Jakobe decide to show Ava her car because she don't want to believe that it was fully destroyed just like what Malcolm said. "Oh my goodness! What happened? How did it happened? Who did this? Who on earth did this?" Ava said looking at her car. All the window glasses were broken. The body of the car were full of scratches. The car seats and the covers were shredded. "Did I met an accident last night?" Ava said while looking around her car's appearance. "What will I say to my Dad?" Ava said thinking of reasons that could explain things that happened just only for a night. "Don't worry, I'll buy you another car." Jakobe said that made Ava looked at her and arched her brow. "We only met last night, Jakobe. How can you say that you're going to buy me a car?" Ava asked. "You're my..." Jakobe wasn't able to finish his words because Truett came out from nowhere that made Ava a little surprised. "He means that he's gonna let you borrow one of his car and you can tell your Dad that your car is in the automobile repair shop because it needed to be fix." Truett became conscious because Ava was looking intently at him. Jakobe growled because Ava was so close to his bestfriend. Truett stepped back to give space between him and Ava. "Your head was full of bandages a while ago and I'm sure you met an accident or might be hit on the head. But now..." Ava said while looking at Truett's head then she walked towards his back searching for stitches. "Mine!" Ava was shocked when Jakobe pulled her to his side. "He means that, ahm..." Truett don't know how to explain Jakobe's possessiveness. "We should start moving because your parents are waiting." Jakobe said and that's when Ava remembered her dad's anger.
