Chapter 20

"Oh wow!" Queen Nevaeh said while looking at the rouges surrounding them.

"As expected but not like these." Night said looking around and she knew the rouges outnumbered them.

"Why are they here?" Ava asked with her worried face. She knew she already trained but there were a great number of rouges. She looked behind her and she was worried not for herself but for the witches that were with them.

"They are here for you." Night answered that made Ava looked at her.

"Me!? But why!?" Ava said while pointing herself with wide eyes.

"Because you are special especially to the person they are following." Queen Nevaeh said.

"I think attacking your parents was just a trap. Who ever was behind this wanted you so badly." Night said.

When the rouges at the front step forward, Ava and the rest step backward.

"We can't escape them." Nyla said.

"Yeah, so better prepare yourselves to fight until the end." Night said and when she nodded everyone made a move.

Some of the witches hold their wands tightly, few brought out the potions they carried along them, some turned into giants, and some turned into small creatures. 

"Protect your Queen!" Queen Nevaeh shouted and Ava expected that the witches will surround Nevaeh but when they surrounded her, she was stunned and looked at Nevaeh that only gave her a warm smile. 

The rouges were ready to attack but they heard a loud houl that made them stopped and looked behind them.

"I guess our night and shinning armour have arrived." Night said with excitement in her voice.

Ava furrowed her forehead and looked where Night was looking and when she saw a huge black wolf, her hearbeat became erratic.

"Protect your Luna!" Jakobe commanded and his pack warriors started to attack.

"Are you both okay?" Beta Jaxtyn asked Kenji and Rosalia and the couple nodded simultaneously.

"Oh my, where are Ander and Maria? How about Jacques?" Rosalia asked and tried to stand but her feet wobbled because of fear she was feeling a while ago.

"Don't worry Auntie, they are fine." Beta Karsyn said.

"What happened back there?" Kenji asked looking outside. 

For a normal person just like them, they can't see the shield. When the rouges tried to destroy the shield, all they can see where normal wolves banging their heads on something hard. Kenji and the rest just thought that the wolves were having brain abnormalities. When Jakobe and his pack arrived, they saw normal wolves fighting against each other.

"Alpha, I mean Jakobe will talk to you later when they come back. For now you should rest." Beta Karsyn said and ushered the couple to their room.

"Will they come back?" Rosalia asked.

"Yes but we're here so nothing to worry about." Beta Karsyn said and Rosalia felt relieved.

Ava was overwhelmed with the blood shed she was seeing. Wolves and rouges attacking each other. The witches trying to protect themselves. Night and Jakobe were side by side protecting her. 

"This is just too much to handle." She said to herself and felt something that's building within her body.

"Why? Wwwwwhhhhhyyyyy...!!!???" Ava screamed and everyone stopped.

"Avayah..." Night and Jakobe said at once.

Ava's body was elevated in the air. A bright light was emitting from her body. Her hair turned into black and white color. Her eyes became black on the left and white on the right just like her hair. Everyone looked at her in awe.

Ava looked at the rouges that made them step backed and felt frightened because of the unexplained force she's radiating.

"Why are you doing this?" Ava said with narrowed eyes that made the rouges kneeled. 

"Are your lives worthless that's why you're hurting others?" The rouges whimpered because of the pain they were feeling.

"What is happening?" Thunder asked Night through the mindlink.

"Her words can make them disappear suddenly or even completely." Night answered that made Thunder swallowed his own saliva.

"That's my mate!" Jakobe said proudly and for the first time, Thunder didn't argue.

"Go back to where you came from. Either continue what you are doing but when we cross our paths again, I will never hesitate to kill you. Or change for the better and I will not lay a finger on you." After Ava spoke, each of the rouges run as fast as they can and as far as they can, away from Ava.

"Avayah!" Night run instantly when she saw that Ava's body is slowly collapsing with her unconscious state.

Jakobe and the rest of the pack shifted back to their human form as well as the witches at their normal state. Jakobe hurriedly approached Night and carried Ava in bridal style.

"I'll bring her to the pack doctor." Jakobe said and started to walk but stopped when Nevaeh spoke.

"No need for that. We should bring her back." Jakobe furrowed his forehead from what he heard.

"She's my mate and she will come with me." Jakobe said with a serious face looking at Nevaeh.

"I know that and I'm one hundred percent sure that you will protect my niece with your life." Nevaeh said smiling.

"Who are you?" Jakobe asked with his confused look.

"I'm Queen Nevaeh of the Kingdom of Fada. Your mom and dad knew me. Tell them that I'm giving them the consent." Nevaeh said that made Jakobe creased his forehead.

"Consent for what?" Jakobe asked but Nevaeh only smiled.

"We should bring her back. Don't worry, she will see you soon and you will never be apart again. Continue protecting her parents and continue to be strong because when she comes back, both of you will face more dangers, more threats, and more foes. Don't trust anyone." Nevaeh said.

When Night approached Jakobe, he carefully laid Ava on her back. 

"I will see you soon." Night said talking to Thunder.

"I will wait for your return." Thunder said and the black hole opened again.

Jakobe followed Ava with his eyes until they gradually fainted and disappeared.
