Chapter 14

"Avayah... Avayah..."

Ava opened her eyes when she heard someone was calling her name. She furrowed her forehead seeing another unfamiliar place.

"Where am I?" Ava asked herself and looked around to see if Night is with her.

"Night? Night?" Ava shouted but she heard nothing.

"Night? Night?" She tried using her mind but she got no answer again.

"Hello, dear one." Ava looked back and she saw a couple standing side by side smiling at her.

Ava felt that she knew the couple. They looked familiar but she can't remember where she saw them.

"Who are you?" Ava asked.

The couple smiled warmly that reached Ava's heart.

"We've just given a few minutes to talk to you. You will remember us once you and Night become one. Always remember that we love you so much. We're missing you badly. We will always be with you in spirit. Remember that you are strong and you are very special. You will unite all with your words and with your command, they will follow. There are people that will help you and trust your heart when you feel that they are true. Trust your guts when you feel that they are foes. Night will always guide you. She will always protect you. Goodbye, dear one." And the couple started to fade.

"Wait! Wait!" Ava shouted and started to walk to reach the couple but they we're already gone.

Ava woke up when she felt Night is licking her face.

"Night." Ava said then, she hugged her wolf tightly.

"What happened?" Night asked through her mind and Ava told her wolf what she dreamed about.

"Have you found anything, son?" Ella asked Jakobe who was outside their mansion looking deep inside the forest hoping that he could sense Ava's presence.

Jakobe shook his head to answer her mother's question.

"You have to be strong not only for yourself but also for the pack." Ella said.

"I know my responsibilities and I will not forget my duties as the Alpha of Timber Wolf Pack. I just hope that she's okay. Thunder was quiet these days and I know he's worried about his mate too. The only thing that keep us going were the words our mates said before they went away to where we don't know." Jakobe said.

Ella wanted to tell something to her son but she kept a promise. Neo and her kept a promise to their friends and she will not break that promise. She will wait for the right time. She will wait for Ava to come back. She just hope that the girl will surpass everything.

"Alpha, Alpha Zyair announced his arrival." Beta Karsyn said using the mind link.

"I should meet Alpha Zyair. Maybe he got something from the human world.

Ella nodded and Jakobe left.

"I'm sorry, son. I have to keep a secret to keep Ava safe." Ella said to herself.

"What do I need to do to bring back my memories, Night?"

After crying while hugging Night, she tried to calm herself to think of the things that had happened. She can't remember the couple she saw in her dreams but when they left her alone, her heart ached. Night told her that they must be King Aziel and Queen Jianna and telling her that they were her parents added more heartaches to her feelings.

"Train." Night said.

"Then, let's start training." Ava said that made Night looked at her.

"I have to get back my memories fast so I can get the answers to the weird things that's happening to me." Ava said.

"You sure?" Night asked confirming if Ava is true to her words.

"Maybe?" Ava said then deeply sighed.

"Is training the only way? What training should I do? Do you think I can do it?" Ava continuously asked that made Night puffed air.

"Remember the words your mother said. You are strong. You are very special." Night said.

"Yeah. Easy for you to say. You've been with me ever since and did you see me do some punches or kicks in my life? Did you see me fight? Did you see me hold guns or whatever?" Ava looked at Night when she heard her giggled.

"What's funny?" Ava felt annoyed. She's been ranting and all Night could do was to giggle.

"You will not hold guns or any kind of deadly weapons. You will use your arms, hands, feet, all parts of your body and most of all, you will use your mind together with your heart. You must put into yourself that you are the strongest and you can do it. And don't worry, I'm here. Don't you ever forget that." Ava smiled hearing what Night have said.

"I am strong! I am the strongest! I can do it!" Ava said with firmness in her voice.

"That's the spirit." Night said.

"Did you found out anything?" Jakobe asked looking at Alpha Zyair.

"I don't know if this could help but some of the non-shifters said that they heard few rouges talking about a dark hole that suck up a lady and a wolf." Jakobe creased his forehead hearing what Alpha Zyair have said.

"A dark hole?" Jakobe asked and Alpha Zyair nodded.

"I left some of my warriors there to do more investigations about it." Alpha Zyair said.

"I think I should go there too." Jakobe said.

"If you insist. I will announce your arrival there. You could stay in one of the house of the non-shifter I knew. But be careful, there are rouges there too. You must cover up your scent to avoid commotion." Alpha Zyair warned and Jakobe nodded.

"Wakey, wakey, breakfast is ready." Queen Nevaeh said as she was entering Ava's room. She creased her forehead when she saw no one inside.

"Nyla? Nyla?" Queen Nevaeh shouted.

"What is it my Queen?" Nyla asked still breathing fast because she ran when she heard her queen's loud voice.

"Ava and Night are missing! Find them! Look for them!" Nyla covered her ears because of Nevaeh screaming.

"What are you doing? Move!" Nevaeh shouted again.

"You should relax my Queen. Ava and Night went out to train." Nevaeh's eyes went wide and then she screamed happily making Nyla covered her ears again.
