It had been one miserable year since Dad had made us break off the friendship with Parker. We were 13 and more focused on school and lessons and training.
What else could we do? There was no more reason to have fun really. I had long since stopped playing video games. Even playing outside seemed stupid now. I hadn’t been to the river with my brothers since that day.
I was going to be extremely good at being alpha if I had to sacrifice Parker for it.
We were sitting in an alpha lesson now with Derek and Lucian. They had to attend some of them when the lessons crossed. The small classroom consisted of 6 desks, a white board, projector and large desk for the teacher. It was inside the packhouse about 3 doors down from my father’s office on the first floor.
