It was a weird day. First day of school and the alphas didn’t speak to me at all. I don’t know what I was expecting really. This summer had been….nice.
Spending time with them was better than I expected even though it only lasted for 20 minutes once a week. At least I got the extra food from lunch so the kids could have something this afternoon.
We had starved once again all summer except for when we got food those Friday nights. This past Friday was terrible because the alphas were at a party and couldn’t bring me anything. The kids were disappointed but I assured them it would go back to normal this week. I hoped.
